Legos allow Chris to fake friends.

and "destroy" fake "enemies".

Muhahahahaha!

It's his own physical CWCville in which he can Mary Sue the past, present, and future. He can become best in everything in high school (and get recognized at graduation for it), fight Snyder and Megan, and then finally find his sweetheart and have Crystal. All of which requires less effort then drawing it out, or getting off his ass to do something with life.

So would sticking one's duck in the snow but Chris didn't seem to mind. As for him building that thing, well that would take effort. Not to mention he doesn't have any privacy anymore so that would mean building it in front of his mother.

he could even go the extra mile and pretend he's playing LEGO SONICHU: THE VIDEO GAME

Personally I think the fact that it is something he can create and control plays a factor in his love of Lego. A little power trip when he can control nothing else in the world.

I'm sure this is overthinking though.
Minifigs never say "no" or call the cops on you.

I'm surprised that with all of the free time he has on his MANOS, he hasn't built one of these yet.

The Lego Masturbator:

Chris would require a special one where the moving ring moves at a 45 degree angle to the other ring. :julay:

I'm throwing my vote in for Lego being a fantasy and control tool for him. He has no friends so he just recreates his old ones to play with. And of course since he's controling them they all agree with him and hang out with him. Well, except for the voodoo doll ones that get contained and shaken like so many 's.

That pretty well sums it up. Except in Chris' ideal world there will never be a graduation and he can stay in high school forever.

I think it's the price and simplicity of it, paired with the fact that there's a huge Lego following out there and it reminds him of his childhood. He's not completely awful at vidya, but it has a complexity that Legos don't. Plus he knows that it's unlikely that he'll find trolls in his Lego population unless he puts them there.

Well, there's probably also the god complex of it. He can build and create anything, or destroy it.

I'm just concerned that Chris's Legos are covered with filth from the hoard and from :briefs: (including from the pets) :o

have you seen the pics of cwcville when his room was "clean"
here is a sample:

You'd think all those mismatched colours and blocks would drive his autistic mind fucking crazy. It's also amazing how little effort he puts towards things that supposedly mean a lot to him.

That's the kind of thing that makes me think that he's full of shit when he says he's autistic and it's nothing but his excuse for being an arsehole.

Does he own any Technic Lego? That Lego that everyone else with a double digit age would use.

Couldn't he also "play God" in vidya games such as The Sims? Or would that have too much complexity and require too much strategy for him?

He can't even look after himself properly nevermind taking the time and effort to take care of a virtual family. I've only played Sims on the DS but things like bathing, feeding and going to the toilet would be too much for him to handle.

There are certain cheat codes (at least in the Sims 3) so that eating, bathing, and using the bathroom wouldn't be required anymore. I use them extensively. But I think OPL would be too :stupid: to really research or execute them.
