I think it's the price and simplicity of it, paired with the fact that there's a huge Lego following out there and it reminds him of his childhood. He's not completely awful at vidya, but it has a complexity that Legos don't. Plus he knows that it's unlikely that he'll find trolls in his Lego population unless he puts them there.

Well, there's probably also the god complex of it. He can build and create anything, or destroy it.

Couldn't he also "play God" in vidya games such as The Sims? Or would that have too much complexity and require too much strategy for him?

When he essentially played God with the Lego counterparts of himself, Jackie, and children, he shoved off all the everyday responsibilities of child management on Crystal.

Chris just does not like micro-management. For one, it's too much work. For another, because he creates largely for his own benefit (also his autism), detail work is unnecessary.

(Which is why there were enough gaps in detail in describing CWCville as to give trolls enough freedom to interpret it as an Orwellian nightmare.)

Chris wouldn't have the patience to create an ideal version of himself in The Sims, let alone make a palace for him to live in with sweethearts and Crystal and become the mayor of CWCville. He might not even understand how to properly build a home in The Sims.

Legos are easier. He knows that "rod A enters slot B" and nobody will bitch at him when the colors don't match or even fit properly next to eachother.

There's a psychic hedgehog spying on people and arresting them for being homosexual. Trolls interpret CWCville as a fascist hellhole because that's exactly what it is.

In America we say "Legos," and as such, "Legos" is correct. It's just the way the world works.

Electric Hedgehog Pokeyman remind me of the Mercenaries from London's The Iron Heel.

(so Asperpedia Four are socialist Congressmen, Clyde Cash is Ernest Everhard, Megan is Avis Everhard, and Snyder a member of middle class eventually crushed by trusts... sorry for sperging)

An all-seeing leader with possible repressed homosexual tendencies makes me think of V For Vendetta
