So out of curiosity, how many of you have donated to Chris? (See thread poll.) Lots of people say they have not, but clearly those dollars are coming from someone, and my guess is they're lurking here in the forums.

I know there's always those who lash out against anyone who gives a cow money, but for those willing to talk about it, I'm curious why you felt the need to donate to Chris, and what were your motivations?

Did you expect Chris to waste his donations the way he does, or was that all part of the plan?

Also, for those who have not donated, what would have to happen before you'd donate? And do the donations ruin him, or delay the inevitable?

I did once, the fire fund thingie. Doubt that anyone will lash against me for it but if so: Meh.

Because fires sucks and I kind of know how bad that feels and I had the spare money at the moment.

I think everybody that donated in that cause knew Chris would blow it away in silly stuff or whatever, personally I didn't care what he would do with the money, I just wanted to help. Getting a bit distracted with whatever he bought was good enough for me to know.

I know this questions aren't really for me but meh:

What would have to happen before you'd donate?

Maybe another catastrophe, as in getting ran over by a bus or getting shot for being in the wrong bar at the wrong moment. But if you're asking if I'd be willing to donate him right now: Not even a chance. He's able to work, his lazy ass won't see a cent from me unless he actually works and delivers first.

Ah yes, this question was made every 15 minutes on the fire fund thread. Personally I think it just delays the inevitable.

Bonus questions:
Do I regret doing it?, nope, on the least. I did what I thought was a good idea at the moment and that's about it.
Will I do it again?, time will tell but everything points towards no.

I do believe that people getting genuinely angry because Chris gets money (donations, commissions, """"""trolling"""""", etc) are being way more autistic than him. Sure, Chris doesn't deserve the money in the first place and people spoiling him are not really helping or trolling, but as long as it doesn't affect my life I see no point in getting pissed off at it. I think people can give money to whoever or whatever they want, I might laugh or clap at their choice, but I'll never get angry at it.
