People are gonna hate on Chris being happy because they're haters, simple as that.

You know, it's because he doesn't make videos! We have only snippets of him, and as with most Facebook posts, they're good moments. Before we saw the good and the bad of Chris. Mostly the bad because he put his whole life online. If we got to see more videos of insanity, I'm sure it would balance things out.

This video is freaking funny because it's Chris being Chris! Happy or sad, he's just entertaining to watch. It's not his emotion but how he emotes. The hammed up tone, the background music, the singing. It's funny. And it's video content. More than the scraps we've been getting. Call me a nice bloke or whatever, I just want to see more of OPL doing videos.

Chris mostly only did videos because the trolls controlled him into doing it. He doesn't produce them on his own much.

I know. And it's too bad he doesn't on his own. He's got this presence and outlandish way of doing things. I swear, he could read a dictionary and it would be hilarious. Hell, he could even charge to make videos and people would pay. But the 'tism strikes again.
 
I think for most people, it's less about autistic paranoia, and more about an instinctual sense of fairness. As a species we are hard wired to feel good when good people are rewarded, to dislike people who exhibit bad behavior, and feel jealousy or anger at people who get something for nothing.

Everything good that has ever happened in Chris's life is an accident, a mistake, or a gift. Nothing he has ever done has given him happiness by its own merit. Even his comics, which are the one thing he has actually put some effort into, are not successful because of anything he did, but because of the accident of him being discovered by the internet.

And even if he did not have any mental issues, Chris would still be a genuinely awful person, as many actual people have attested. We like it when terrible people are punished. It's instinct.

He's basically someone who is so awful that you want to see him suffer, but here he is, enjoying himself and hanging on. I can see that getting on a lot of people's nerves. It's like he's avoiding karma.
 
I'm gonna go with the "jealous spergs" angle. The modest money he's making off of his Sonichu stuff is only "success" in comparison to his past. But, he genuinely seems happy with it, and happy with his current social life. This makes miserable spergs, who are not happy with their lives but either cannot or will not do anything about it, jealous.

Anyone getting mad or jealous over him banging a hooker though is just :story:.

I'll also address the "Chris is a bad person" angle; if you peruse these fine forums for a few minutes, you'll see many people who make Chris look like a stand-up dude. In the grand scheme of things, an autistic transexual who draws ridiculous comics and holds child-like grudges over those who have wronged him really isn't that bad.

He's not that awful. At worst, he's kind of an asshole, and a bit of a criminal, but in a really half-assed, pathetic way.

For genuine awfulness, there's ADF.

I'd say macing a random store employee is pretty awful.
Drawing porn of friends is pretty awful.
Attempting to run over a non-jewish store owner... yeah, pretty awful.
Death threats, violent behavior, selfish behavior, just being a general creep... Not everyone with autism does these things. Those are all Chris.

For most of the time that defined Chris as a Lolcow, and even after his prime was over, for many people Chris was the only lolcow, and as such, it doesn't matter if other people were worse. You could look at any cow and say "Well, he's not as bad as Nick Bate..."

He didn't try to do that, that was an accident that happened as he was trying to take pictures of Michael Snyder's daughter as "proof" that Snyder was molesting her. Which makes it kinda even worse.

No one likes him. No. One. The people he's interacting with right now find him off-putting for sure.
No one loves him. No. One. His bitter old crone of a mother needs an errand boy.

Chris got a few lucky breaks.
The courts went easy on him because he's clearly a lunatic manchild.
Someone gave him a month's tugboat for his own satisfaction, and you'll probably enjoy the resulting illiterate scrawl.
A few people think it's funny to watch Chris fuck up simple tasks, so they bought medallions -of their own accord.

In a few years, Chris will be completely broken because he refused to grow up.
Right now, he isn't hurting anyone, let him laugh. He'll cry soon enough.
 
I have said this elsewhere so I will say it here.

There is a rule that some people have with Chris. Life and the universe must match this motivational poster:

If they are worse than Chris in any way, shape or form then there must be something wrong. They are then angry because of a simple reason.

They neither can nor will ever accept that there is the possibility that Chris might be better than them. Because if that is true, then they are the most pathetic people on earth...

Ask yourselves, why does ADF cling to this narrative so badly despite the fact that by all accounts, Chris is much better off and a better person than he is.

Just because worse people exist, even in this very forum, does not mean he's any less awful. It just means someone else is worse.

If someone steals your stereo, you'll want to see them punished. If someone else kills your your dog, you'll want to see them punished as well. You're not going to forget about the guy who stole your stereo just because a worse person killed your dog.

I'm not saying we need to punish him. The universe seems to be doing that for us. However, we should understand that not everyone's going to be happy for him when he gets a lucky break. For some it has nothing to do with needing someone to look down on, and more to do with a concept of justice, or karma. When bad behavior results in rewards, it can annoy quite a lot of people.

Here is my take.

It is easy to say that people should get what they deserve. And be annoyed when that doesn't happen. So when Chris makes money off of a shitty comic, or when he gets a sentence for a crime that you feel is too light, I can see why you are annoyed because he seems to have gotten better than he deserved.

On the other hand, hard core white-knights will stress that he didn't deserve to be born with autism, he didn't deserve to be bullied in school for being weird, he didn't deserve a lot of the crueler trollings, and he doesn't deserve having his only close living relative being a senile, bitter, hoarder.

As I see it, both points are right, but the conclusions both sides draw from it are wrong. Everyone has lucky breaks and unlucky breaks.. Chris has had both. So have you. Chris will continue to have both. So will you. But it is really easy to focus on the unlucky breaks that you and the people you like have had and the lucky breaks that people you don't really like have had. And then conclude that the world is unfair.

That attitude should break down with scrutiny. Is it really reasonable to say that Chris' life has been a constant stream of lucky breaks with no tough breaks mixed in? Would you really exchange lives with him?

Chris stole away my happiness and killed my heart level when he lost his virginity to the prostitute if he wasnt still a cultural virgin i would kill myself
