Your Madge, you do realize Chris is going to die alone, right?

No one likes him. No. One. The people he's interacting with right now find him off-putting for sure.
No one loves him. No. One. His bitter old crone of a mother needs an errand boy.

Chris got a few lucky breaks.
The courts went easy on him because he's clearly a lunatic manchild.
Someone gave him a month's tugboat for his own satisfaction, and you'll probably enjoy the resulting illiterate scrawl.
A few people think it's funny to watch Chris fuck up simple tasks, so they bought medallions -of their own accord.

In a few years, Chris will be completely broken because he refused to grow up.
Right now, he isn't hurting anyone, let him laugh. He'll cry soon enough.
If Christine is diagnosed with a terminal illness then thousands of fans will come to see her before she dies. Every kiwi who can make it to her funeral will come. Sonichu isn't just a passing fad like so many celebrities are. We are called true and honest fans for a reason. Through good and bad we will stay with Christine to support her, that is the meaning of being a kiwi

idk if i'd be so dramatic about it but yeah, if chris got superaids i'd probably visit him (i'm not too far to begin with) or at least send a card saying "well man it was fun, better luck in the next life amigo". can't imagine i'd be the only one either.

i mean, i've spent 6~ years stalking autists, what would be one afternoon drive in the grand scheme of things. stop being drama queen faggots, though.

He didn't try to do that, that was an accident that happened as he was trying to take pictures of Michael Snyder's daughter as "proof" that Snyder was molesting her. Which makes it kinda even worse.

I don't even think it was really intentional - IIRC Chris and Barb were essentially trying to swap seats in a moving car and it was Barb in the driver seat when Snyder was hit.

Actually, I don't think they have.

The only reason Chris wasn't hit with a felony at the Snyder trial, even if the more guilty party was found to be Barb (and she served a small jail time sentence for this as I recall), was because Snyder actually had the capacity to pity Chris and what his life would be like if he had a felony stuck on him for the rest of his life, and so asked the court to reduce the severity of the charge. Chris of course thought he was in the right the whole time and spat venom at Snyder who basically gave more of a shit about Chris's future than Chris at that point.

For the more recent legal issues, Chris did serve a weekend stint in jail straight up when he was caught and it appears the constant continuances are on part of the defense trying to make Chris look like somebody who can function on a stable level in society...by way of seeing some kind of psychiatric help between continuances. This can not be confirmed, but it's the most popular running theory last I checked.

I think it's because ultimately, Barb succeeded in making Chris into a subservient lap-dog. He'll do a bunch of basic things like get food from a fast food joint and probably extremely minor household chores (since the place is probably infested with hoard 2.5's bloat by now), things that Barb herself is too lazy/old to do, in return for her doing the one-off more "complex" things such as getting legal console for legal hearings.

As a result, even though it's obvious Chris dearly wants to be free, his first priority is always her well-being. Thus his repeated attempts to shove that responsibility onto Cole instead, since then if anything bad happens it's Cole's fault Barb died and not his.

Source? 'Cause I don't think he was trying to do that either.

Happy Chris sells home-made amiibos and crayon drawings to spergs. Angry Chris assaults people and makes death threats over the color of Sonic's arms. I'd take angry Chris over happy Chris any day because frankly he's a real bore when he's not mad.

Think about what you just said... You're comfortable with people getting hurt by a raging manchild. If nothing else, that would end all monitoring of Chris when he goes to prison.

You read the cwcki way too literally.

You mean chris didn't rape a girl back in 1973 that the US goverment was forced to cover up?

And Ivy wasn't real after all this time?!

Here is my take.

Usually much smarter than most

It is easy to say that people should get what they deserve. And be annoyed when that doesn't happen. So when Chris makes money off of a shitty comic, or when he gets a sentence for a crime that you feel is too light, I can see why you are annoyed because he seems to have gotten better than he deserved.

Here is where I take an issue with many of the the Chris-Anti-Hedonists. I don't think they are rational analysts who can assess Chris's life objectively anymore. When they start demanding justice for the things Chris did things to way out of proportion. Lets really objectively examine this his most recent incident -

Chris's pepper spray incident actual tally of destruction -
  • No one with any lasting physical harm
  • No real property damage except a shirt that likely had to be discarded and a defaced display
  • An incident considered by the police and everyone involved in at the scene to be so minor it did not make it into the local Police Blotters
  • He was jailed only as a formality and was released on $500 bail (An amount so minor when you consider that real crooks have to pay much more)
  • A misdemeanor charge
  • A constant series of continuances because lets be honest here and admit that Chris is just not enough of a criminal mastermind or muscled monster to use valuable jail space for
Hellblazer already posted Sleps memorable responses and I think we can all agree that what people like Slep want and what the rest of society want are two very different things to the point that we make fun of Slep for it.

On the other hand, hard core white-knights will stress that he didn't deserve to be born with autism, he didn't deserve to be bullied in school for being weird, he didn't deserve a lot of the crueler trollings, and he doesn't deserve having his only close living relative being a senile, bitter, hoarder.

I really doubt he has any white knights left. If there are any, they deserve a hard drink. Most of his remaining white knights are trolls, and the few that do exist keep their distance from what I understand. Chris did not deserve autism, but he inflicted a whole lot of harm to himself. Most of it he paid pretty dearly for. I would not want my house catching on fire from a Keurig Accident. Yet Chris and Barb did that to themselves. I think he has had a wide swing of Fortune and Misfortune. Most determined by himself and his own actions/inaction.

If anyone wants to call Chris a Karma Houdini or Cosmic Plaything, I suggest they think about both ends of it.

As I see it, both points are right, but the conclusions both sides draw from it are wrong. Everyone has lucky breaks and unlucky breaks.. Chris has had both. So have you. Chris will continue to have both. So will you. But it is really easy to focus on the unlucky breaks that you and the people you like have had and the lucky breaks that people you don't really like have had. And then conclude that the world is unfair.

That attitude should break down with scrutiny. Is it really reasonable to say that Chris' life has been a constant stream of lucky breaks with no tough breaks mixed in? Would you really exchange lives with him?

Best part of your post. He has had a lot of both ups and downs. He is a real person, not a fictional character in a sitcom whose life must always stay the same.

Chris will change and people need to stop connecting their self worth with the state of Chris's life. Him suffering or succeeding does not improve or degrade their lives.

The real issue is that all of the things that happen to him that are "good" are really gonna fuck him over in the end. It's like when a bum has a really great day of panhandling and they think "Wow, I can really get ahead of life doing this instead of really getting my shit together." I don't really care about Christian's well-being or if he's happy because I've got too many people who are actually in my life that I need to focus on, but if you do care, the last thing you should want is for him to think he can make a living off of Sonichu.

Chris being mad doesn't necessarily imply Chris assaulting someone.

Good point. And conversely, happy Chris is still emotionally unstable and a potential threat to himself and others. All it really takes is one real or perceived slight to turn him from a harmless cross-dressing goofball to the violent nut who pepper-sprayed a gamestop clerk and tried to hit Michael Snyder with his car.

I wouldn't be too sure.

We all knew how angry Chris had gotten about the Sonic Boom arms thing, the biggest drawn-out chimpout he'd had in years. But we thought the worst he'd do was make stupid little color-ink case inserts and vandalize a bunch of copies of a game that was shit anyway.

But IIRC, Chris himself did say that a primary reason for him macing a guy...was because he was so upset about seeing Sonic with blue arms.

Chris is a coward at heart, but if he even has an inkling of possibly doing something that would get him immense personal satisfaction about something, he will take that chance - it's usually what lands him in so much shit anyway. I mean, the whole doxing saga way back before even the Gamestop Incident and blue arms drama - all that over some dumb-ass nonsense involving play doh medalions and Chris willingly leaked a buyer's personal info without too much provocation.

Chris needs to get his shit together but it takes a lot of optimism to even see that happening even five years from now. If he didn't snap into reality being told using pepperspray constitutes as an assault, or his former offense of checking someone with the family car, how the hell can we expect him to get it together any time Soon (trademark)?
