Chris's spending on iPhone games

This game seems perfect for him. It's kinda targeted towards his creativity. He's not a creator, just someone who'll pile hoards of premade crap together and call it his own. Cwcville and sonichu were not created from scratch, they were existing things just thrown together. It's like when people ask why Chris doesn't play minecraft or the sims. Those would take that much more creativity he doesn't have in order to play them.

He hadn't played in a while, it seems, but he was around for me a couple days ago. I find if funny that when he 'visits your town' he -always- vandalizes your buildings, (which is a legit option) even if it doesn't really harm you and even in fact slightly affects his ratings.

Knowing Chris, he genuinely thinks he's having the last laugh by doing this. This is the man who feels that creating an effigy of you in Soul Calibur and beating it up is some sort of deadly insult, so he'll gladly accept you as a friend if he suspects you're a troll just to vandalise your buildings. He can't fathom that nobody else puts the sort of value into trivial things that he does.

My thoughts exactly. In his warped mind, he thinks he's pulled a fast one over the "twolls" and as soon as they foolishly accept his friendship, he defaces their hard work, epic revenge!

But what he fails to see is they downloaded the time waster of a game just to get access to his town and show the internet how much time and tax payer dollars he's wasted on a glorified screensaver.
But no, he's too busy relishing over the fact that the trolls towns are at his mercy. No matter how small the win, despite how much dignity he loses to gain it, is still a win in his eyes.

I remember how he tried guilt tripping Nintendo to fly him and Snorlax down to Nintendo of America, "Ya'll have the money!"
Meanwhile, he's bitching about having to pay medical bills for someone he injured or criticizing Megan for not paying him back in cash, and yet has the money to spend nearly a thousand dollars on game on his phone.
What a leech.

Well, of course. That's less money for all the 2D buildings he wants to waste it on.

Also GAS IS EXPENSIVE!

I love the little insightful character shading detail that CWC is a habitual virtual vandal as well as apparently an IRL one. I almost hope his motivation for tagging up others accounts in this isn't based on knowledge that they're ]:(P in his mind, it would kind of clash with my idea of him as the dictionary definition of a misanthrope if it was. Can either of the two screen-cappers tell me if there's some ranking system based on how much vandalism has been pulled off on someone's account that would at least provide a flimsy motivation for his continued vandal crusade on this thing or is it purely another facet of his general lack of respect for all things big and small, online and off?

He was probably having A BAD MOOD and had to ruin something.

Isn't vandalizing what you're supposed to do in that game, just like wacky lovable Bart Simpson?

I really think Chris would get a kick out of the latest Sim City. It's a dumbed down, money pit kiddy game with lots of features and DLC for tards like him, it's dead easy (like NO challenge at all!) and it's bright and colourful.

Very much unlike Sim City 4, which is a JERK'S game, where all of the DLC is user generated and free (and why the game is still alive and kicking nearly 10 years on while the latest offering struggles to breathe)!

No, there's no real system to see a detail of his town's stats/ratings, but while YES vandalizing is a legit option that comes with the game, it's not the only thing you can do in your friend's towns, all of the buildings they can tap, you can tap, and most if not all will give you a tiny bit of money, and generate more for your friend. Vandalizing just gives you the satisfaction of ruining your own 'Righteousness' rating, and when the friend taps it, it gets cleaned and they get a tiny bit of money. Chris ALWAYS vandalizes your buildings. I don't know how many friends he added, but he can't wreck his ratings too much because paid items that don't do anything but decorate give a tiny percentage (like 1-2% per item) bonus to the money you earn, so Chris with all his paid stuff makes tons of in-game money and has no real need for ratings.

Has anyone tried to vandalize Chris' town then??

When I first added him, right when he released his user name, if town was usually full of vandalism. Basically any building you could vandalize would be.

Because apparently I'm a sperg with no sense of what's good to do with my time, I went and screencapped Chris' addition to the town, the 'Krustyland'.

The friend selection screen. Here you can tap on either the town (which we've seen) or the park on top to visit that friend's specific Krustyland. Of note is that while the mini towns are not accurate, they DO change, and the mini towns we see for Chris are for towns maxed out, you can tell how both the other players on the left and right have differences in the port, and in the park, because Chris has been able to max out the decorations everywhere and has every building.

Here it is in all it's glory:

Here is the full size original, I hope.

You can tell that it takes many screens to screen cap it all, Chris' town is already maxed out in size, he has every plot of land you can buy, and you can kinda see that he's on his way to doing the same here as well. Not all of what you see is a thing you have to pay for, but he's still put a bit of money on it. I don't know if you can spot them, but the dudes in costumes cost about $6 each.

Some fun things from his town:

Disco Stu and the pet Iguana just came out, and look. Oh, everything Chris has paid to have on his town, I can tap and check out while visiting as well. So he's paying for mere animations and voice clips, but at least he can share with us :3 You can also tell how he's started to toggle all the xmas decorations on buildings.

The red grafffito on the school's ceiling is what it looks like when a friend vandalizes your building. so yeah, people have been going nuts with him. You can see the name of the person who vandalized you, though.

Question. Does Chris have to undo the vandalism with in game points or something, are in game points something you can buy?

Hahah no, it's like, the only social part of the game, you can tap things in your friends' towns to either help (with extra in-game money) or frustrate them (with vandalism) but seriously there's no real effect, the extra cash you get either way is very small, and vandalism just has to be touched to be cleaned. To me this is what makes it sillier that Chris is so obstinate in vandalizing everyone he visits!

Ah, so his town was usually vandalized? So maybe he's just trying to impotently fight back then I guess? I think I might download this then, might be a good waste of time on those long bus rides to work.

This is a guy who thinks he curses you IRL by making a likeness of you in Soul Calibur and beating it up. Knowing him, he likely thinks he's inflicting some great curse on your house in real life or something.

I was going to get it just to see what it's like but, alas, my device isn't compatible.

Don't bother, it really is a terrible 'game', It needs an internet connection all the time, so unless you have 3G you won't be able to play it on the go. There's a lot of loading screens, and it really is little more than a facebook 'click on this and this and this' game. I only play it because for all it's worth the tiny bits of dialogue and story it has are well written, and knows it can (and has to) poke fun at itself. In a recent update the quests were about trolling the forums for the game. ]:(P They poke fun at the mechanics the gamers have come up with to play, like farming lots of blue houses, or sending characters on 24hour quests. it's only neat if you're a hardcore Simpson aficionado from long time ago (lots of references to old eps) but other than that it's not all that good

I can see it now - Chris hunched over his iDevice at McD, greasy, badly-died Tomgirl hair falling in clumps around his face, with a maniacal glint in his eye. "Take that, you dang, dirty twoll," he says to himself as he vandalizes someone else's 'Springfield.'

Off-topic: When Chris speaks, he reminds me of Elmer Fudd. If Fudd was barely able to form a complete sentence, got a kick to the sac, and had the voice modulation of the computer in the 80s flick, "War Games."

Elmer couldn't learn from mistakes either.
