It's kind of funny that Chris claims he's related to a Queen presumably beheaded for failing to produce a son. Considering Christian's "son" Sonichu is imaginary and he wasn't much of a son himself to the Borb, being tomgirl and all.

Generally I dislike when folks want to explain their heritage to me. It's usually average people who are trying to make themselves seem interesting, and their claims of having exciting ancestry aren't proven, just remarked upon. Chris loves to brag, he loves to point out how unique and special he is and it never really benefits him. I bet almost everyone he tells about his Cherokee/English royalty pedigree reacts like I do, which is not giving a shit at all and remaining skeptical about its validity.

I'm kind of interested in Genealogy, because, well--it's interesting. I like knowing about the people that came before me, whether they were horse thieves or inventors or murderers or politicians/chiefs/nobility or heroes. Other people's ancestors are interesting as well. The mistake a lot of people make is to treat their lineage as an accomplishment. For example I like being part Irish, but I'm not proud of it. It was nothing I did, it was something neat I got.

I don't get why Chris thinks his fantasy of royal lineage makes any difference to anything. He's still a nobody living in a garbage dump who can't do anything or get anything he wants. Isn't that more relevant?

Chris also has identity issues. Like I said he does nothing and, forgive the tones here, doesn't really matter to the world around him in the grand scheme of things. He doesn't stand on his own in any way shape or form. He hasn't developed a true personality or any sort of meaning for his life. So he clings on to things like a supposedly royal lineage, being Cherokee, being autistic, and of course Sonichu. Its actually rather common he's just 31, autistic, and stupid.

In Chris's "collect-'em-all" psyche, a personality isn't an organic whole that morphs and stabilizes over many years so much as it is a collection of baubles that you can mix and match/hang up and take down like Christmas ornaments.

Chris just has to have the prettiest, shiniest ornaments of them all (royal heritage, artistic geinus, etc), all the more to liven up that dreary Christmas tree in the kitchen that is his life.

My thing with Chris, though...does he even know who Anne Boleyn is?

If he doesn't know what one half of 180 is, what hope is there of this? If he did, he probably wouldn't be too quick to connect himself with someone who really didn't do anything in her own right, but rather was used and callously cast aside by the king.
