I liked how he fell back on "I was drunk" after that didn't work, which he honestly might have had the slightest sliver of a ghost of a chance at pulling off had he gone with that option from the get go, the farms tends to be generally lenient towards alcohol-induced chat shenanigans, though it still would have been so painfully obvious he was lying to the point that if he did manage to get the thread closed with that excuse Hell would have frozen over so badly that they would have prophesied the second coming of the Antifreeze.
