I think he admitted to being an antitheist.

I've been an atheist for like ten years and I still don't get this.

I mean, I understand the sentiment - religion is responsible for a large portion of evil in the world - but calling yourself an antitheist implies a hatred of theists, who are really just people trying to make sense of the world in the best way they know how. I think most atheists just use this label to get a reaction.

I think that some people who are strongly monotheistic will after leaving their religion act in the same way about atheism as they did about their religion because that's the only way they know to look at the world

I will never understand why block toys and games attracts so many autists.

In my experience atheists who come from very conservative religious families are hostile to religion because they've had bad experiences with family or the church in general, which can range all the way from overly strict parenting to physical or sexual abuse. They may have a difficult time disentangling their negative experiences from the (probably different) experiences of other theists. However, not all atheists with such negative experiences call themselves antitheists.

But Wizz is probably just doing it to be edgy.

Eh. He is from a tiny nowhere-town in Louisiana, so I can imagine being an atheist makes him stand out a lot in his community.

Maybe we should make a thread for Bionicle fanboys in general. I was a huge Bionicle sperg as a kid, and I can tell you the fandom has always had a pretty solid lolcow subdivision. Especially the "bring back Bionicle" crowd which sprang up after the cancellation in 2010, who literally thought that petitions with a couple thousand signatures could make a massive company like Lego change their mind.

Yeah I don't like the powerleveling going on here right now. The thread was way more fun when it was about Wizzie, not Bionicle shit I don't one ounce of fuck about.

I've said this before, but spergs often latch onto things they liked as children and never let go. This is why a lot of people in their 20's now like Sonic and Pokemon, that's what was big when they were kids they probably got into the fad and never moved on.
