The UK is putting out all the best weirdo-safari shows lately.
The things these people do to get fatter and the struggles of being that gargantuan sound like such a painful slog that I refuse to believe there isn't an element of masochism here. At first when you see them it sounds like it would be a grand old time eating all your favorite junk food all day and watching TV, but some of these people drink heavy cream straight because it's a fast way to gain more weight. Heavy cream. Then you have to watch the number of words you can get through without gasping for air mid-sentence decrease with each passing day. If you're doing that, you hate yourself and there's no way you've never thought "I hate all my favorite foods now and I hope the sleep apnea kills me tonight".
