Who else sends Christmas cards? Like properly through the mail with a stamp and everything. Not just the cheapest tat card handed to you in the office by people you despise.

I love the thought of my recipient smiling when they see that what came through the letter box wasn't another bill or jeet-advert for curry, but instead a hand written letter with a picture of cute animals or a snowy church on the front.

There is nothing better than receiving a nice Christmas card from a family member and putting it up on some string next to 10 others.

Since I've started sending Christmas cards every year the number I've received has gone up by a few each year as well. I now get a good 10-15 rather than a measly one or two from parents and a friend.

It feels good to be the change you want to see.

However I will say I really hate getting obligation cards from work colleagues that I've never spoken to outside the office.

I sent my siblings cards from the pack I bought ten years ago. It has six designs in it and every year I hope I'm not accidentally sending a sibling the same card design they got the previous year.
