When we first announced SUPERKILLER our script / storyboard stood at 52 pages. However, we decided we really wanted to flesh out this story, and give the readers a deeper look into the SUPERKILLER universe.

The current storyboard stands at 65 pages, including a two page epilogue which sets up a very special new character I don't want to spoil yet. Let's just say not everybody loves Sam, and there will be some heroes who aren't content to stand idly by as he destroys world after world.

I know the wait is an annoyance, but I promise you we are pouring our hearts into this baby. Every single page goes through multiple processes: storyboarding, preliminary sketches, revisions, preliminary inking, a second round of revisions, then the final inks. After that it gets handed off to the colorist and letterer, all of which requires additional rounds of revision and tweaking to get it just right.

Our team is scattered all around the globe, from Mexico to the UK. We've been figuring out the best ways to coordinate our efforts, and future issues are going to go much more smoothly. I think I've already mentioned that I have some very exciting announcements about SUPERKILLER #2 but I don't want to get ahead of myself.

Point is, I am more excited than ever. This book is looking awesome and I deeply appreciate your patience. I think you guys are going to be blown away by the final product.
