Is anyone else experiencing this recently with chrome? All tabs will freeze (music will still play through it) and the rest of the computer is fine. It generally freezes for a minute or two. I have found a way to unfreeze emmediatly it by opening Microsoft edge and then closing it.

Ironically as I was writing this the browser froze at least 12-15 times which is odd. Normally it is only freezing every hour or so.

Nigger, is this another windows 11 gripe thread? What are your system specs? Is this a nigger box with 1 stick of ram?

Have you tried doing all the normal troubleshooting things like starting the browser in safe mode to see if it's an extension causing it, or clearing the cache/reinstalling the browser?

Look up how to do that online. I only use firefox, because I think the fox in the logo is funny.

Also 64 megabytes of ram?
Dude's stickmaxxing. Ram's a meme, if you need more than a quarter gig to run all the modern games and applications you're doing something wrong.

There is no such thing as a 3600XD. A 3600 yeah. But no 3600 has 3d Vcache. Also 64 megabytes of ram?
He probably means this

sorry 3800x3d and GB not MB obviously.....
That also doesn't exist. 5800x3d is what i assume you mean. 64 gigs of ram. Running off a 2tb m.2. Should be working fine. My windows 11 rig runs fine and the OS and browsers are on a SATA SSD. It sounds like a you problem. How old is the computer?

Meh I'm only half paying attention to this convo because it's not on the track I care about. Replace the 3 with a 7.

When you were partying, I studied 3D V-Cache. When you were having premarital sex, I mastered memory leakage. While you wasted your days at the gym in pursuit of vanity, I cultivated huge memory pages. And now that your computer is on fire and the Chromium barbarians are at the gate you have the audacity to come to me for help.

I've done all that but nothing helps. Sometimes it's worse than others still but lately it's been "ok." I'll update thread if I ever figure out how to stop chrome from freezing.
