There are several variants of EDS that Range in severity

Yeah pretty much no one is dying from hEDS. Type IV is particularly lethal, some of the other types as well, but not the type all the munchies claim.

As far as I can piece together she was born in England but left at about 2 months old, spent portions of her childhood in Canada and Indonesia, then moved to Orlando and finally Tampa Bay Area.

Probably so she could stay in the USA. It might have been why her and Judd got married young. I’m sure it became an issue after 18 if she wasn’t in school.

If you’re a British or Canadian citizen you cannot work in the USA, or even remain here, without obtaining special visas or PR card which are hard to get if you don’t have a special skill, a employer sponsor or a spouse/parent citizen to sponsor you. (Were either of her parents American?)

Given Jaci was a lazy munchie there wasn’t much of a reason ICIS would want to give her a PR or visa.

Now, why she would become an American citizen when a PR card would be nearly as good idk.

Bless southerners and their obsession with heritage, because I was able to track the Proto-Judd family back to a Dupont born in South Carolina in the 1750s. Eleuthère Irénée du Pont who founded the du Pont dynasty in the US wasn't even born until the 1770s and didn't immigrate here until 1800.

Did a fuckton of work in Jakarta and apparently speaks Bahasa/Indonesian and Malay. Jaq‘s britishisms were inconsistent and definitely something she did on purpose for whatever reason. The only things I think were ever wrong with Jaq were psychological: factitious disorder, anxiety (I think she really believed at first that she was having “anaphylaxis” and asthma because she was mistaking panic attack symptoms), maybe some somatic symptoms. Everything else was too adjustable and you could usually find the friend she got the idea from. I can’t be specific about autism because I don’t know anything about it or how well her presentation aligned with a true (not self diagnosed for Internet points and an excuse to be an asshole) autism dx

Yeah, autism seems pretty unlikely. She seemed to have a very thorough understanding of people's emotions/biases and how to effectively to manipulate them. That's pretty high-order social reasoning that tends to be hard for people with high functioning autism.

per self report she did she described doing a very in-depth battery of testing. she was also enrolled in some program where she met with an OT and they worked on social skills (per self report.)
- she described this bizzare story about when she was a kid and was obsessed with dogs and would pretend to be a dog and lick her hands and gross everyone out. kids rejected and ridiculed her as a result. her cousin the one that went to Oxford or Cambridge corroborated the story. (she never framed it as a story that corroborates her ASD dx, it was just her reminiscing)
I am not well read on the subject but there is a school of thought that women on the spectrum actually become quite good at understanding emotions etc. bc they have to learn them more through explicit attempts to learn them and perhaps OT.
the degree to which she was obtuse with her church friends was mind blowing and for someone who figured out plenty of ways to game ppl her videos often showed her being socially obtuse. husband from couple # two makes the distain micro expression at least once while she blathers on .

yes. The Florida crew shared a small group of permissive doctors who coddled them and played fast and loose with the prescription pad and specialist referrals.

I am pretty sure her super special mitochondrial disease dx came from Dr. Paldeep Atwal of Jacksonville, who bills himself as providing personalized genomic medicine for EDS patients or something to that effect.
