Yeah pretty much no one is dying from hEDS. Type IV is particularly lethal, some of the other types as well, but not the type all the munchies claim. There are several variants of EDS that Range in severity

and we know she changed her citizenship to American. I clearly remember that. But I somehow remember her saying she was a Canadian citizen. it's not a common thing for people to bother to change when they have PR in Canada bc there are not many benefits to giving up your British citizenship. As far as I can piece together she was born in England but left at about 2 months old, spent portions of her childhood in Canada and Indonesia, then moved to Orlando and finally Tampa Bay Area.

I don't even know why she would give up her British citizenship for American. Unless, she was thinking she would eventually be convicted of a crime and kicked out of the country.

weird. I think she often stated her dad was British and she pronounced certain words in the British way. Vitamins for one. If she was born in the UK I guess it was their preference for her to have Canadian citizenship.Canadian citizenship is from her dad. He's from somewhere in western Canada. Mom is Venezuelan and I am unsure if she ever became a citizen. Jaq was a permanent resident of the US before she got citizenship. She claimed her main reason for changing to US citizenship was because she wanted to vote.
fuck me I know too much about this bitch.

Nah, Dad's from Canuckistan. He traveled the world for work and apparently lived places for months or years at a time with her. Did a fuckton of work in Jakarta and apparently speaks Bahasa/Indonesian and Malay. Jaq‘s britishisms were inconsistent and definitely something she did on purpose for whatever reason. Just another oh so special affectation methinks.
out of curiousity do you think J was actually on the spectrum ?
Did she have an autism diagnosis from a professional, even a quack? It's very hard and expensive even for legit high functioning autistic adults to get a professional diagnosis if they didn't get one while they were a kid/in the school system. And in women, a dozen other diagnoses are usually tried on first. I'm guessing she was self diagnosed, at any rate. I never followed her closely, just kind of knew of her, but she did not make an impression as being autistic, to me. Lots of subtle reasons for that. More like a cluster B by far. I noticed a lot of tumblrina cluster B types have latched onto autism as a more socially acceptable excuse for their dysfunctional behaviors. Of course at root they are highly manipulative, which is pretty much something autistic people don't have the social savvy to do anywhere near as effectively as a narcissist or borderline. The only things I think were ever wrong with Jaq were psychological: factitious disorder, anxiety (I think she really believed at first that she was having “anaphylaxis” and asthma because she was mistaking panic attack symptoms), maybe some somatic symptoms. Everything else was too adjustable and you could usually find the friend she got the idea from. I can’t be specific about autism because I don’t know anything about it or how well her presentation aligned with a true (not self diagnosed for Internet points and an excuse to be an asshole) autism dx
Yeah, autism seems pretty unlikely. She seemed to have a very thorough understanding of people's emotions/biases and how to effectively to manipulate them. That's pretty high-order social reasoning that tends to be hard for people with high functioning autism.Did she have an autism diagnosis from a professional, even a quack? per self report she did she described doing a very in-depth battery of testing. she was also enrolled in some program where she met with an OT and they worked on social skills (per self report.)Did she have an autism diagnosis from a professional, even a quack? oh, huh, tbh I'm somewhat surprised I never saw her.
Which hospital did she die at?
Tampa General
her preference was for foreign trained doctors. I used to know the name of her "POTS doctor." He was trained in Mexico and was in fact an internal medicine specialist.lol, I figured it was either going to be TGH or UHC.
wanna get operated on by a surgeon fresh from the carribean isles? he can hold his scalpel upright somewhat.

I think there was another shady concierge doc in Polk County/Lakeland area, I remember reading reviews and realizing every one was a munchie saying the doc spent so much time listening to them and they finally got a [insert munchie illness] dx.
So there really are munchie doctors who munchies pass around and recommend to each other, who cater to the whims of these freaks, whether because they are duped or because they're outright quacks.
