seems like Janice is carrying on without skipping a beat posting new videos (I think this one appears to be filmed before) but I do find that very curious.

The obituary just seems very blasé an not at all consistent with J's message/brand . Nothing about what a warrior she was and how she fought tirelessly. Just "Jacquie understood chronic illness through personal experience and wanted to create awareness of the daily struggles associated with chronic illness."

I also feel like this is some budget funeral provider (like prices are listed on the main page) and they are mainly relying upon the church to host her service likely at no cost.

I wonder if the sepsis left her really maimed or something ? I am generally in favor of cremation but if it was my 23 year old son or daughter I think I would struggle with that, and even though I can't quite pin point why I feel this way I feel like this is an instance where it would be quite normal to spend a lot on the funeral and not bargain hunt.

Of course there is high demand for economical funeral prices. It just seems a little bit gauche under the circumstances of it being a 23 year old. You look up the provider and their main focus is their bargain basement prices . Seems odd under the circumstances. One possible explanation is they were cash strapped.

She was the reason I found kiwi farms after stumbling upon Lolcow farms and reading her threads there before they banned discussion of Munchausens.

I hope that more research can be done on how to successfully detect and treat these types of factitious disorders , as well as somatic illnesses.

These munchies are playing with fire but I honestly think many of them just don’t know how to stop. Their underlying insecurity, anxiety etc needs to be sorted but that’s a a task unto itself.

This is why Jackie had to have Judd run home to get her liquid benny when the hospital "ran out" - they didn't run out, they cut her off because they didn't want to be sued for her death when she inevitably died of a blocked bowel. Every doctor knows Benadryl potentiates opiates, and thus generally has enough sense not to give it to a patient who is clearly pushing drugs through her port and her feeding tube, while already being constipated with a weak bowel.

She wanted that port and gut tube because the best way to get the most bang for your buck, opiate-wise is to inject it into your bloodstream where 100% of it is absorbed, or shoot it into your butt where your intestines absorb about 80% of it into your bloodstream. This is way more effective than oral administration or snorting, which only causes you to only absorb 30-40% of the drug.

No wonder that surgeon "yanked" her tube out last year, I bet he was onto her. Her tube didn't get all gross and pus-y from her touching it, it probably got nasty from her pushing drugs meant for your stomach into her intestines. No wonder the hospital "ran out" of one of the most commonly used medicines -- they were trying to avoid exactly this, but probably weren't aware that AJ was sneaking Benny's from home and likely pushing all meds through her port or tube, even ones meant only to be taken orally.

The opiates probably dulled the pain of the bowel blockage and there's a very good chance she fell unconscious before she even knew something was really wrong with her. She was probably chalking it up to mast cell activation or whatever the fuck munchie diagnosis, right up to the very end.

If she wasn't an insane munchie with a love of stabbing tubes in her stomach and turning her butthole into a gut-hole, she probably would have ended up like the patient in the above video - left with enough bowel that it could be surgically reconnected. Hell, she might have ended up with a colostomy, which I'm sure she'd have loved. It'd be dangerous of course but she'd probably make it in the end. And she'd have another one of her precious toobz to fuck with.

But her bowel wrapping around the tube did her in. Her bowel wall just doesn't have the integrity it did before she started stabbing holes in her stomach and intestines, which lead to the hernia that led to the bowel strangling itself around the tube and her
likely being dead before she even knew what was up. If she hadn't had the roux en y procedure, I'm willing to bet she'd still be alive, at least for a while.

I mean Jesus Christ, just shoot up heroin like a normal junkie. Guess regular ol' heroin addiction is just too normal for our adjustable friend, and it comes with far fewer asspats. This bitch makes Luna Slater look like a paragon of health and hygiene.

I caught that also. There's definitely a disconnect between the obit and her videos. The original obit also said that she had a college degree, then it was changed to pursuing a college degree. It's like when I graduated high school years ago, I put down that I belonged to clubs that didn't even exist and they printed it in the year book.

Give me the optimistic ratings but a lot of good could be done if anyone in Jaci’s Circle would do a video addressing the fact that she had a factious disorder and it resulted in her death. Jaqi was followed by many mini-jaqi’s and their enablers. Judd or Jaqi’s mom being blunt about her demise might give some other enablers the courage to put their foot down and confront the munchie in their life.

I don’t think the hard truth would do anything to wake up munchies. As we’ve seen in this thread and IF munchies absolutely love to detail how their diseases are totally real, but these fakers are just awful and make things so difficult for totes legit patients like me.

Regular old junkies are urged to get clean and stop using. Munchies are told they are brave warriors and praised for abusing opiates. Munchies have family urging doctors to give them more pain meds, junkies have family warning the doctor not to because they are addicts.

Being a chronic pain patient is the best possible thing for a junkie, because no one calls them out and you get enablers helping them get more drugs. There’s support groups instructing you how to demand drugs for your pain. Many munchies also keep getting needless surgeries to keep the pain meds coming and less questions about their need for powerful opiates. (Michael Jackson was a famous case of that phenomenon.)

It also allows them to never confront the fact they are an addict. They have an almost religious fervor about “muh pain” and the level of denial about their addiction is off the charts. They also blame withdrawal discomfort and pain on their endless conditions.

The fact is opiates are terrible for non-terminal, long term, chronic pain because the tolerance issue and the fact they aren’t actually addressing the cause of the pain. I’d also guess her opiates totally blocked out the pain that would have let her know something was very wrong with her small intestines - another reason opiates are dangerous. You don’t notice some alarming pain that normally would let you know something is seriously wrong.

But laying in bed all day high as a fucking kite while everyone gives you pity and asspats is heaven for munchies. You could tell Jacqi was high as a kite in most videos, junkies love to babble once they get a fresh dose in their system.

It appeared (to me at least) that Jaq kept her mom beaten down like an abused dog. I don't think her mom ever had a voice or opinion in Jaq's healthcare and was basically relegated to taxi cab driver and servant status. What parents won't do for their children. Judd, on the other hand, should have grown a pair of balls and intervened. Jaq had deep mental issues and although she was a master manipulator her intentions were self-serving and not malicious toward anyone. She needed help with her factitious disorder and self-mutilation. Someday Judd is going to wake up and realize that his "star struck" YouTube attitude cost him his wife's life. Asshole.

There’s a weird type of guy who is drawn to munchies and sick girls.

A guy I know - healthy as fuck, his job involves serious outdoor activity that keeps him strong like an ox. Really nice with a big hippie bent, but the burly manly type. He’s got sucked into a crazy relationship with a munchie - a cancer faker, the whole munchie nine yards. He eventually had to get a restraining order after he broke up with the crazy bitch, but he was totally her caretaker until it was all revealed to be a total and complete fraud by her own family.

Saw this guy yesterday and he’s got another “sick” girlfriend. She just moved from another state to live with him while doing PT, which make zero sense for many reasons. When I ask why she’s doing PT the explanation makes no sense. (A unnamed congenital defect but also “other issues” in her legs her evil dad never let her get surgery for as a minor. But she’s 30 now, still lives with parents, but suddenly this surgery is a-ok by dad and now totally necessary!)

After he left everyone at the table was like holy shit he got another crazy faker girlfriend! I had to introduce the term munchie to them. They were stunned it was common enough to have a name.

You could say he’s just got shit luck with women but there’s something drawing him to these types of girls. He’s an attractive guy that gets plenty of interest from women, but he’s seeking out this super needy, munchie type for some bizarre reason. (Before the cancer faker he was madly in love with a lesbian who was the embodiment of health. Maybe that broke his brain

I hope Judd just got unlucky by falling in love too young with a girl that turned out to manipulate him by faking illnesses. But if his next relationship is with another “sick” girl there’s a real problem.

I have no idea why this hadn't occured to me but it makes so much more sense. I can see it though, people have all kinds of fucked up codependent dynamics in relationships, no reason why this wouldn't be one. It's so unhealthy and creepy, like not minding or enjoying it because it happens to be a person you love is one thing, but fetishizing it is another. I wonder about a lot of these girls' husbands/boyfriends/whatever but Judd some of the most. Especially cuz Jaq was always so childish, like did they fuck? haha
