Chronicon - 2D Diablo but grindier

Apparently not, lol. You have to be a special kind of autistic to hear "Diablo 2, but grindier" and say "Yes, that's the product I want".
 
Is it really grind if you just bot everything in the case of D2?

It's fun if you like heavy customization. Crafting in this game is better than any other I've played. It allows you to randomize the mods on items as well as lock the mods you like and keep randomizing the others. Then you can improve the effectiveness of the mods. In the end this lets you make your gear exactly the way you want as long as you have the resources.

The other nice thing is the mechanics. If something sounds like it should work than it just does. No "that's prohibited because it would be too strong" nonsense.

Ex.
item 1 - increases all resistances by max shadow resistance
gems in all items - increase shadow resistance
item 2 - increases health by total sum of all resistances
item 3 - increased thorns damage by total health
set item - add thorns damage to skill damage

In this case just focusing on shadow resistance will improve your survivability and damage.

If you like making weird over-powered combo's in games than you'll probably enjoy this one. I did play it quite a while back though so I'm not familiar with the newer features.
