Featured on Aug 11, 2026 by REGENDarySumanai: ChudBound 2 has been released on TempleOS in honor of Terry A. Davis, who died exactly eight years ago.
Today, on the 8th anniversary of Terry Davis' death I release my 7th annual TempleOS tribute: ChudBound 2, sequel to the heckin' wholesome indie-slop adventure, now in FIRST PERSON.
Join Chuddie and his rag-tag gang of frens save their local community through morally and ethically justified means.
Arguably, this is the first release on the CyberChud engine that qualifies as a real video game, as opposed to some sort of tech demo. Clocking in at under 5 minutes it provides a sampling of cinematic and gameplay elements.
I encourage players to dig through the debug menu. There's lots of cool unused graphical effects.
LLM Ramblings
ChudBound 2 also represents my first dive into using LLM coding harnesses. Specifically Opus and a marginal amount of Sol. This cost me $20/month, over 2.5 months, and enabled me to generate an extraordinary amount of new features, optimizations and bugfixes. I hardly wrote any code by hand.
I have left my CLAUDE.md and LLM-oriented `docs/` in the git repo for other programmers to consider when integrating LLM coding harnesses into their own workflow. What you see is essentially how I use it. I do not use memories, skills, goals, plans, loops, etc.
If LLMs can work on my bare metal TempleOS codebase, it can work on yours. It's so fucking over.
It still feels like Terry Davis passed away only two years ago, not eight years ago. I am still adjusting to the fact that KingcobraJFS has also passed. Sometimes I forget that KingcobraJFS is no longer with us.

It's a "retro" video game made by a man with an anime girl avatar on a esoteric operating system about contemporary edgy internet humor. Might not apply to crunklord specifically but if anything this is the kind of thing someone would in their pre-tranisition edgelord phase.

Fantastic game. I enjoy checking in with chud-dog and being told to pass the nuke india room. I couldn't help myself though, I am only human. Well done
Of course. 𝓐𝓘 𝓲𝓼 𝓫𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓮𝓺𝓾𝓲𝓹𝓹𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓵 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭 𝓽𝓸𝓭𝓪𝔂. Who else? 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕵𝖊𝖜𝖘? Please. 𝕹𝖔𝖗𝖒𝖎𝖊𝖘? They brought enshittification to us all. This will be the age of AI. AI!
It was around 1.30am by the time Rakesh, a 45-year-old Oracle employee in the Indian technology hub of Bengaluru, finally shut his laptop after a long day of calls and presentations.
A few hours later, as the sun rose on a March morning, his phone started ringing incessantly. Colleagues were calling, urging him to check his...
