Taking *only* the diffuse and normal from a PBR texture tends to lose detail.
If you are working with NPR and diffuse + specular, take a PBR Albedo and multiply blend it with the PBR ambient occlusion map, then invert the roughness map to get a sort of specular map. Specular from roughness still wont look entirely right because roughness is also the exponent of the specular highlight, so really the specular map should be both a multiplier for specular lobe as well as control the specular exponent, if you aren't wanting the cost of an actual PBR BRDF

I do not use memories, skills, goals, plans, loops, etc.
Based, all that shit is just token wasting and causes hallucinations due to context windows to be smaller for you actual task. The LLM model it self should be what just works with a single md file with the most important goals/constraints, that's it.

Always interested to see these projects every year, very cool CrunkLord. Over the years I've begun to measure people and groups by what they actually create vs. talk about; stuff like this inspires me, at least in a small way, to be someone who builds things rather than just complain about them.

On that note, and the topic of LLM coding, I have a little bit of a programming background but nothing substantial, professional or otherwise. I've been toying with Claude in various ways, and decided to shell out for a paid plan to see what I could get done with it. No real knowledge of React or other webshit stuff, but enough to prompt Claude Code like "I want to keep the data in a separate file and have the app read it from there". For me, the most impressive thing is how well it handles tedious and monotonous stuff, like the idea of going back through all the commits and summarizing changes and writing a human-friendly change log sounds very boring and requires actually engaging my brain and not just copy+pasting, but Claude does it in 5-10 minutes. Or, "I have a ton of stuff in basically a text document, can you reformat this into a table with XYZ data columns that we can read from", probably a few hours of the most repetitive annoying type of work that I will no doubt make some mistakes in converting... done in 15 minutes, and Claude flagged a couple entries that had possible typos that I had missed when drafting originally.

I can see how this tech completely brain-breaks LinkedIn normies. It basically lets non-technical people create things, and lets technical people use way more of their effort and attention on design and creativity rather than keeping various things in line.

you physically can't die in this game, i shot myself with a grenade launcher and it just made my health go into the negatives but let me keep playing as if nothing happened, unless that was meant to be a tutorial thing at the start idk

8 years... 8 years ago the FUCKING CIA NIGGERS ripped you away from us, King Terry, God's smartest programmer, and although you left us your Temple, the world is a much worse place without your brilliance. But you're with God now, resting finally in His embrace. I miss you so much Terry.
