I think it's Gman's tone too. He comes across as very annoyed and monotone in his speaking which makes him sound dumb. Plus his analysis is usually fairly surface level.

That baby at the start caught me off guard and the no clip breaking was chuckle worthy.
 
I always look forward to his Postal and lesser-known FPS content. Catching up on previous videos I had missed, I was actually taken aback to see that he liked Cruelty Squad and held it to such a high regard.
 
Funniest joke is how the game he was beta testing ingame was more functional than the game that contained it.

This exact comment has popped up a lot of times in this thread. It's basically just confirmation bias. You hear, especially on kiwifarms, about people who used to be able to keep it in their pants before they eventually fell apart. You don't hear, or think, about the people who have kept drama out of their videos for 10 years, because they don't stand out. You just think of them as another guy who probably just agrees with you, or a guy who is going to spout political bullshit "eventually".

There's more people who keep their political opinions on Twitter than those who don't.

Look buddy, if Civvie doesnt make a jackass out of himself because there are those that dont agree with him politically, that is fine by me, he is there to entertain me and thats really it. He can believe in a horse vaccine god for all I care, the problems only begin when he calls me a bigot for not believing in said horse vaccine god. That is when one breaches into lolcow territory. Im just saying that it "usually" starts by them throwing tantrums on twitter and then that stuff starts leaking into their content, if he is smart enough to not do that, then he is fine.

I haven't played the first since it came out but remember really enjoying it. I also had a blast with the second game too. I'd play a third game in a heart-beat but the odds of that happening are fairly low, I feel.

I haven't played the first since it came out but remember really enjoying it. I also had a blast with the second game too. I'd play a third game in a heart-beat but the odds of that happening are fairly low, I feel.

I dont care for gmanlol myself but this thread moves slow at the best of times anyway.

Maybe a better title like "retro boomer youtubers and friends" or something like that would be in order though, if this becomes a thing.

If you consider Half-life in the category, MarphitimusBlackimus (or something like that) does Decino-style breakdowns for that game.

The sound effects video was good as well. As a child and not understanding the concept of stock sounds, I was rather confused why other tv shows and games kept stealing Doom's fireballa and door opening sounds
