The exteriors of Arab houses here are uniformly either hideously overdecorated or unfinished concrete husks, and more often than not a mixture of both. Strangely enough though, the interiors are always beautiful, even if the outside looks like trash. A lot of them don't have windowpanes either - I've heard a couple explanations for that, the most common is that the PA still applies a Mandate-era law that residential units are only considered livable for tax purposes if they have glass in. Don't know how true that is, but considering the way things generally work here, that sounds 100% believable. More likely though that the builder just ran out of funds - you see rebar sticking up from the roof of practically every building here from a planned top floor that never materialized.

It is kinda funny seeing woke lefties in mass suddenly talk about how Palestinians have a right for a independent homeland just for them and about how Palestinian culture and lifestyle will negatevely change if they are forced to live with Israelis since they can't coexist by default, essentially saying that different ethnic and cultural groups who have nothing in common can't really live together in large numbers so the optimal solution is to separate them, all of this sounds oddly ethno-nationalist, I wonder what they think of Europeans who complain about the large number of muslims that are now living in their cities, I'm sure they'll be consistent and also support them.
