Situation has gotten very bad, Hamas has learned from 2014 and have developed 2 new tactics. First, iron Dome can only handle about 8 missiles per battery, they shoot 150 unguided rockets in 5 minutes. This completely overwhelms the system. Second, they developed low flying rockets that iron Dome can't detect, this is what killed those 2 women in ashkelon.

Israel cannot win the PR war with this, Hamas fires from civilian areas in one of the densest and uses civilians as human shields, when Israel strikes back, they end up killing a few. Hamas also likes claiming its fighters as civilians. It's a win/win for Hamas, either damage Israel or die a Shahid and help on the PR front as an innocent who dindu nuffin.

It's a thing people forgotten, but for all the "jews control the media" jokes, the vast majority of mainstream articles you'll see are ones denouncing Israel for protecting its citizenship.

With the Palestinian election called off and Abu Mazen looking weak, this is the best chance that Hamas has to retake the Palestinian leadership from the PLO. People will prefer the Shahids who fought to "protect" Al aqsa and sheikh jarrah over the PLO who just condemned it. Hamas is making the most of the situation and firing everything they have .

Yeah, I don't want to powerlevel too much, but all I'm seeing on social media is overwhelming support for Palestine with any dissenting opinions being condemned as "right wing zionist trolls".

If you want to see the proof in the pudding, look at Andrew Yang's pro-Israel tweet from yesterday: he got heavily ratioed by angry leftists accusing him of being a genocidal white supremacist and GOP shill.

There's a difference between the pro-apartheid orthodox jews in Israel and the globohomo jews in the media. Both are bad, but have different stances.

The apartheid thing is a joke. There are ton of Muslim Israeli citizens who are rather fine with western country level living compared to the shit show muslim countries alternatives. Especially anyone who's under the LGB banner. The Palestinians are their own worst enemy considering the amount of money dumped to them over decades.
