I've seen some of them saying they'd support stuff like BLM if it wasn't anti-Israel (it is) but I don't think that's all of them or even a majority of them. Most just look like they're ok throwing Israel under the bus, and honestly why shouldn't they?
They're American, they might be "world citizens" in the way they act but in the end it's American issues they have reasons to care about, even if they're frivolous American issues, because those are the ones that affect them like they affect you. Who cares if Hamas throws anything ranging from glorified bottle rockets to Grads to Israeli towns and cities, do they live there? Of course they don't.

If Jews were anywhere close as persecuted as some of them say or, for that matter, anywhere close as nazi tards say (I can't help but see both as two sides of the same coin because the arguments are so often the same, just from different perspectives) they would've already bugged out to Israel, and they didn't and they won't. Going to Israel would mean actually having to work, and American Jews being largely upper middle class don't work. A country can do with only so many lawyers, journalists, physicians etc, while Israel is the one Jewish society in which Jews are largely working class, because it's the one society with a Jewish majority and there's no gentile labor to rely on.
These being material explanations without getting into the sheer culture shock that would derive from some liberal kike in Brooklyn moving to a relatively conservative, brown Middle Eastern country, because not all of Israel is Tel Aviv.
American Jews know they couldn't survive in Israel, it's one of the many reasons why they don't bother anymore.

Simping for Israel predates 9/11 it's just more in the open now. The evangelical wave in the second half of the 20th century pushed the idea of Israel as sacred and encouraged Christians to ignore the parts of the NT which are very clear about the place of jews and Israel post crucifixion.
