I just went through all of Dvorak's symphonies and it's funny to me how most aren't that good (sorry Dvorak fans) but out of nowhere he'd compose a total banger for his last one. It's not very common that I find a symphony where all movements catch my attention.
Reminds me I need to take out my Istvan Kertesz cycle and give it a spin. It is a very common feeling among classical music listeners that Dvorak is boring, and you can see that there isn't much imperative for record labels to record his music outside the "greatest hits" like the Cello Concerto or the "American" works.

Still, there is one more melody of his that has become a perennial favorite: The Humoresque No. 7.

I didn't realize how much I enjoyed classical music until I listened Brahms' 21 Hungarian Dances while searching for Hungarian songs. It still is my favorite.

The 7th and 8th are very good IMO. Kertesz is kind of low energy in the 8th.
Honeck is frequently annoying with his meddling, but here he works miracles. The only addition is a little col legno in the finale.

Some other Youtube-only gems:

The only redeeming feature of Canada playing Brahms' 2nd PC with Warsaw Philarmonic:

Little known Spanish orchestra with a great Mahler 6th:

Schubert 9th ("the Great") with Wand. I didn't like this symphony and found it boring, until I heard the Wand/Cologne Radio recording. Somehow he makes it work unlike any other conductor. This recording is a bit sloppy when it comes to sound quality, but worth watching for the energetic mood and great camera work:
