I bet you thought we had escaped that primary colors +teal color palette. Was anybody actually nostalgic for school picture day 1996?
Let's not bring back the 90's and I hope it doesn't come back in full swing for women. Low rise pants are an abomination, no one wants to see fat girls in crop tops and low rise booty shorts again. These patterns are more early 90's but people my age are going to be lead designers for clothing companies soon so they'll try to make early 00's fashion come back in style.

It's back. I have been to festivals this summer and body confident dressing has become The Thing. What my generation sneeringly called "dressing like a whore" is in for all body shapes and sizes now.

Can we bring back All Saints style cargo pants though? I need a lot more pockets now than I used to need

I low key love the look of cropped tank with those cargo pants. Just add chrimped hair with a single streak of pink and you got yourself a skater girl.

I didn't even know they sold men's clothes. I have never seen a man in Forever 21 that wasn't waiting for his girlfriend.

The second one just screams sped with his very own tard guard.

I’ve bought some of my favorite jeans for cheap there. All their men’s shirts are ironic meme wear. Or graphic tees to match the women’s lines, like the Kodak series. So I’ll put these shirts in the ironic shit pile.

Who remembers the popcorn shirt?

popcornshirt.jpg

I had a couple of those in middle school in the early 2000s and thought they were hot shit.

I also had a shirt like this around the same time. Ah, early 2000s tween/teen fashion.

when you finally find a nice shirt, pair of pants that fit all your criteria, but it has some random deal breaking shit like a random diagonal zipper halfway down the back or the graphic of a cheeseburger

I really wish H&M would label there jeans correctly instead of only showing the friging waist size. I’m not picking up every pair in the pile just to see if they’re my length, if everywhere else can just slap a sticker on so can they.

That is really confusing when you shop in the US, i still don't know why they do this. Russian stores, including H&M branches over there, for example, conveniently mark clothes with height along with the waist size.

I honestly question why people would ever want to go in public wearing any of these. None of the designs ever actual work because they're always just stolen jpegs that someone took and slapped onto a shirt. Which means in person, these sweaters always look super fuzzy and grainy with how low quality the image comes out sometimes.

You just don't get it . Looking like a tard in public is okay when it's just a joke, lol. It's ironic humor .

There will be that one Asian guy at a con or some twitch thot parading around in one of these somewhere.

I never why these were so popular, I mean, it probably started out as a joke on social media that blew up somehow, but I don’t see why someone would wear this unironicly in public. It just feels weird OK.

You have haphephobia, and you know that people will avoid any interaction with you while wearing this.

They’re getting banned from cons where I am. Here’s somebody with a thread here ranting about KF getting them banned.
We did it boys, we ruined Anime conventions!

(by banning ahegao clothes (a.k.a totally not hentai faces clothing))

A genuine part of it is just teens making attempts to push boundaries in schools and public to seem edgy. Same as always though in this case I find this particular option strange. What's so impressive about knowing about a form of pornography? Is it time for a stupidity arms race where the dorky girls walk around with their favorite yaoi protagonists on their hoodies?

That would actually be pretty funny but it would inevitably go overboard like every fad.
