CNN shills for Mexico, trying to make it look more appealing than the US - CNN is now Mexican Propaganda

CNN talks to delusional, old, rich former Americans who say Mexico is better than the US because there's no Trump, the healthcare doesn't "have all that paper work" that's there to protect your rights when something goes wrong, how it's a haven for hipster artists, and that it's totally safe, until you piss off the wrong person.

So the country that was recently listed as the second most violent country on Earth:

Is supposedly a paradise with totally affordable healthcare, security, and nice people. :story:

I can't wait until CNN says Afghanistan is a progressive peaceful Muslim Utopia.

Mexico is a failed narco state although for the sake of luzl I hope at least a few idiot hipsters take CNN's advice and try to gentrify a Mexican slum.
There's that hope. I will say they make great laundry detergent at least.

Comparatively, if you really think about it, Mexico is more dangerous than North Korea. With Korea, as long as you stick to the rules and don't wander off to autistically steal posters, you'll be fine. In Mexico, your only guarantee to safety is being European and having millions of dollars.
I think I'd rather visit N. Korea and watch children sing like pre-programed robots than visit the world's chili ring.

Anyone who is talking about how great the healthcare system in Mexico is has obviously never attended a patient in full-blown septicemia following a surgical procedure in country because it was cheaper than here. Sterilization and cleanliness are almost non-existent.

I suppose it's one of those deals where you're fine as long as you can afford it.

You know what? Good. I hope Trump's presidency encourages all the crazy commies to move to Mexico and meet a cartel.

I'm worried that would be like feeding man-eating lions weakened humans and just give them a taste for American flesh. Then they'd break down Trump's wall, invade en masse, and start eating Texans and Californians.

Actually, that might not be so bad.

My mother has gotten surgery in Mexico before, she said it was fine and hasn't suffered from any consequences.

I think it speaks more to how healthcare is unattainable for a lot of Americans in their own country that they go to their neighbors in the North and South.

I'd love to see what happens when a group of rabid SJWs who decide it's a good idea to lecture some Zetas on toxic masculinity and how they're problematic.

They're not going to step foot in Mexico, or Venezuela, or Cuba, or any other similar shit-hole. They're just going to keep waffling about how great those places are from the safe distance of their privileged white bread lives.

Mexico has become something of a retirement hotspot for many aging Americans these days. Could just be the weather or whatever community is there, but it is interesting the few that do stay down there.

Some parts of Mexico are really pretty, and its really cheap to live there compared to retiring to the USA I would imagine. Great seafood tbh.

A similar thing happens with people here retiring to SE Asia. They tend to return once they get to the age where they're having chronic health problems needing first world care, though.
