Hmm I get the feeling that CNN doesn't like Trump.
I'm getting real sick and tired of these news media outlets screaming of freedom of speech when they themselves have threatened freedom of speech from the every man. Demonization of Trump supporters, weakening Youtube's advertisement support, false claims and defamation, violation of privacy via Gawker's trial, and constantly making little to no effort in providing thoughtful commentary.
Reddit is honestly terrible as always. They bring up the card about how freedom of speech isn't freedom of consequences. How the fuck is that element of free speech relevant? It is literally a child who was fucking about online and got noticed by the president of the united states. The kid must have been ecstatic about seeing that. But CNN had to come in and Doxx the kid for sharing the opinion that at least a quarter of the United states have.
This is a few instances of late stage capitalism that I think exist, these million dollar companies try so hard to make money and gain views that they shed their morality. Weirdly enough not even /r/latestagecapitalism even recognizes this. I don't want a major corporation have so much power to fuck up a person for what can be opposition. And since these people clearly do not value anonymity and privacy they could very well undergo legal conflict that violates a person's private life. Which is why freedom of speech is something that should be valued in lower level organizations.
And why the hell does reddit care about how the guy who doxxed the kid is getting death threats? Do these tards not understand that the kid might have been sent death threats too? And being doxxed is significantly worse than being set death threats. On one hand, death threats are at most just threats, but once someone gets doxxed anyone can go in your personal life and fuck up everything. God reddit just jerks them selves off in their validation don't they?
