and now they attack entire organizations and making them crazy.

Most recent, and what spurned this thread, is CNN losing their shit over a wrestling meme, then threatening to dox a rando if he didn't apologize

Their whole staff is going insane on air, look at Sally Kohn losing her shit over a meme

So they went after the guy who didn't even make the gif Trump posted? Someone who just took credit for it on a reddit post?

Exactly what in the public interest is there in releasing the identity of a guy who mistakenly claimed to make a gif that the President posted on twitter?
Yep. Not only did CNN blackmail a guy over a wrestling meme gif, they actually blackmailed the wrong guy over it.

Ok maybe I should have phrased it more like "Why did the guy take responsibility for something he didn't actually make?"

I understand he apologised due to blackmail but he would've known his version was different to the one trump posted. It's odd he didn't mention that at all.

Why do you think CNN gave a shit about the facts? They were just going to dox him if he didn't grovel and kneel before Zod, so he did.

lol calm down
I think he's giving an overview of how other people view politics now, not himself.
Twitter is awash in Anti-CNN memes right now. The internet is shitting Autism and they will drown in it.

And speaking of Autism, I decided to look some shit up on Andrew Kaczynski, the guy who essentially kicked off what I am now tentatively referring to as Autism War II.

As it turns out, Kaczynski was specifically hired by Buzzfeed back in 2011 for the purposes of doing shit exactly like his hatchet-job against some rando online on July 4th. The Observer noted, some time ago, that Kaczynski was a self-proclaimed "Internet Oppenheimer" whose job-description basically involved making smearpieces for big media by utilizing out-of-context video clips.

CNN: Eating Buzzfeed's Table Scraps.
So a liberal O'Keefe?

Mainstream media will act in anyway, shape or form, to stay relevant to the average viewer.
How much of this is a long-term consequence of the slow demise of cable tv (old and busted) to internet writing/streaming (new hotness)? Is this just what we always should've expected no matter who won the presidency because CNN and all the other once-big cable news services feel pressure on their bank accounts and it makes them lash out like cornered animals?
