Ever wonder what would happen if you gave a /pol/ influenced, futa-obsessed faggot from /v/ a mic and a webcam? You would get Coby Zachary Naughton, aka Synthetic Man - An angry, almost 30-year-old neet still living in his mom's basement who makes videos on how niggers in video games are no good and how jerking off to tranny dick are anti-woke, right wing values. His edgy and degenerate takes have made him quite controversial within the wider gaming sphere, promoting many controversies with trannies and political grifters. Yet despite being hated or considered a joke by the wider internet, he has managed to obtain a fanbase of diehard pay pigs who defend every single action of Coby's despite having no respect for them or anyone in general.
This thread serves to show the utter pile of shit that is Synth and how he got here.

Personal life
Personal lifeFirst let's take a look at the 'Man' side of SyntheticMan, Coby, and how he became this way.
Coby did not have a good childhood and his family situation was unstable, which led to his parents divorcing during Coby's early teenage years.
Coby's father was mostly absent during his formative years, leaving the responsibility of parenting to his mother. Around the time Coby reached 18, his mother started dating various men - whom Coby does not have fond memories of. The one Coby remembers was a rich man he describes as a dickhead with a massive ego. But what did Coby learn from this, you may ask? To be a better father? To care for your kids? No, his takeaway is that women shouldn't have high-position jobs.
Coby, despite his parents repeatedly trying to teach him necessary life lessons or introducing him to other activities, completely refused to partake in them, opting instead to feed his videogame addiction, which caused his personal growth to become stunted.
Coby's only real experience dating was dating a black chick in high school, which went poorly. He has pretty much given up on dating after this. For all this talk about black people le bad, it's ironic that the chud's only real relationship was with a nigger.
When he graduated high school a depressed and stunted Coby decided to not go to college but become a NEET. His parents tried to get him a job, one time even threatening to kick him out, however, Coby could not handle any type of job resulting in his parents giving up and Coby "escaping into his video games".
Despite resenting his parents he still lives with his mom, which caused her to begin asking for money for rent once Coby's income from Youtube became high enough, but just like a freeloader he attempts to delay the payment as far back as possible until his mom forces him to.
Coby, despite living like utter shit, possessing none of the life skills that someone at his age should have, and the lack of any desire to improve his situation in any way, Coby has deluded himself into thinking that he should have a great life.
Expectedly he often feels lonely due to his lack of meaningful companionship or someone to love in his life, but his solution once again isn't to begin making an attempt to better himself, but to wallow in self pity instead.
Coby is someone who was absolutely stunted growing up, living in a unstable family, being raised not on actual essential life lessons but rather on the internet and blackpills. It is therefore no wonder Coby ended up the way he is today.

SyntheticReviewsAfter having gone through who Coby is as a person, we'll now cover who Coby is as a content creator. How did a man like this manage to amass over 150k subs on YouTube? What kind of videos does he make?
Synthetic Man is a video game and TV show reviewer, creating videos where he gives his opinion on any games/shows that he has recently played or watched, as well as some on the current state of gaming as a whole.
The tone of these critiques can be seen right from the first video he ever posted, a review of the Resident Evil 3 Remake, which he called a "massive disappointment", another constant of his channel is his open disdain for new releases and modern media, often labeling them repetitive, generic, bland, uninspired, and other negative qualifiers in the reviews that he makes of them. These views stem from his belief that the gaming industry has degenerated when compared to previous decades, mainly due to their lack of focus on fun and unique gameplay, inferior mechanical depth, reduced complexity and overemphasis on narrative, linear stories, over immersive environments. All of these problems he blames on the casualization of gaming as a hobby.
And, somewhat setting him apart from the majority of the content creators of his sphere, he doesn't have a blind faith in the future of indie gaming either, not showing much interest in them and often believing them to be mediocre when he does show it.
In line with this, Synth is also firmly anti-woke, speaking out against things like pronoun selectors, changes like "body type A and body type B", plots who prominently feature or revolve around women, sexual or racial minorities (as well as characters that are part of one or both of them), or simply have numerous NPCs who tick said boxes.
Often going in semi-manic rants expressing his disdain for them.
He would also go on a massive rant about racemixing in his fallout tv show review all because of one very minor mixed-race character.
These beliefs often times put him at odds with reviewers that are supportive of such changes and products, like TheActMan, Jim Sterling, or GmanLives, often addressing them directly in his videos and accusing them of "killing gaming".
Having read this, you would naturally think that Synth is a member of "The Fandom Menace", a loose collection of anti-woke, center to center-right content creators who are also opposed to the modern state of culture, but you'd be mistaken, as his uncompromising attitude and open disdain for other races (which will be described in more detail later in the OP) has also put him at odds with said group.
Possessing non-mainstream views and lacking any popular youtubers on his side, the Synthetic Man channel seems to be condemned to irrelevancy, at best having one other two hit videos to then fizzle away...
Were it not for the /v/ board of 4chan and /v/irgin culture as a whole. That's right, Synth is /v/'s man in the mainstream, with most of his audience either being frequent posters on the board or having been influenced by it, his uncompromising attitude from earlier essentially allowing him to have a monopoly on the entirety of such a demographic, and granting him an stable income from his YouTube views.
Knowing all of this, we'll now go through some of his more famous and controversial videos, describing the reasons for his rise and moderate e-fame along the way:

Despite playing video games for a living, making streams almost daily, and despising what he sees as the "casualization" of the industry, Synth's gaming skills are quite lacking, to say the least, oftentimes reaching DSP-tier moments. Like here, where you can see 15 minutes of his 2 hours-long meltdown because of his inability to properly install the Fallout: London mod, eventually going on a rant against zoomers and one of viewers.This moment led to him banning the words "lolcow", "DSP" from his chat, as well as removing all DSP-related emotes. Synth must believe if he cant be called a lolcow then he isn't one.
His shortcomings when it comes to gaming don't stop at the technical side of things, however, as they also extend to actually playing them. This can often be seen on his reviews and are a staple of his streams, like when he streamed God of War: Ragnarök, where he got mad at the puzzles and called them "weirdly difficult" because of him forgetting about the game mechanics that'd make them easier. He even blamed DSP for the fact that the game told him the solution to the puzzles due to him taking too long to solve them.
Playing hard mode for almost the entirety of the game without even being aware of it due to bugged difficulty settings (which, to be fair, was an actual bug).
Or when he fought an optional boss believing it to be mandatory, as the thought of simply walking pass the rune that spawned it didn't cross his mind.
Well, maybe it's just a one time thing, after all being bad at one game doesn't mean that you are bad at gaming. Now, something like Doom Eternal? With fast-paced action and a high skill ceiling? That's more like it, true gamers like Synth are able to show their superiority over the casuals in games like these. Let's see how it went:
Remembering mechanics? Memorizing the terrain and enemy types? Managing your resources? Fuck this shit, this is just as hard as Dark Souls, how dare those casuals that played on normal say that I, who beat the game on nightmare. am not good at it? The devs are just forcing Synth to play the way they want him to play.
Now if only the Doom devs let Synth choose his own difficulty, if only the Doom devs did something that made Synth able to play his way then he would absolutely mog those journos and casuals. Oh, so Doom: The Dark Ages now has difficulty sliders? Sliders that allow you to personalize your experience? Casuals are done for, Synth will thrilled after seeing this, right?
Of course not! Those lazy devs are just appealing to the fucking casuals again! They just don't want to make a hand-crafted difficulty where Synth can thrive and truly show all of his skills, now if only this were Dark Souls all of his gaming abilities would shine. But at the end of the day nightmare difficulty it is, obviously just a piece of cake for any real gamer, and no incompetent dev will be able to change that.
Now Synth will teach those journo-difficulty players how a true Doom fan plays the games:

Contrived puzzles, confusing and hard-to-memorize mechanics, unfair difficulties, lazy game design, it seems like the entirety of the modern gaming industry just wants to make Synth look like a noob! Or maybe, just maybe, he should just try getting good.
Tears of The Kingdom Schizo Tangent Fiasco
On May 30th 2023, Synth released his Tears of the Kingdom is Not a Masterpiece review. Although interesting on its own right, the reason we are talking about this video is not because of the review in general, but because of Synth's self-proclaimed "schizo tangent", where he rambled about how one of ToTK's characters is tantamount to satanic imagery, Link being cucked by Paya's new boyfriend, or him being an homosexual.In the middle of all of this, Coby also had a, let's say, "freudian slip", which would later turn out to be quite relevant after finding out the type of "women" that he's into.
Least degenerate /v/irgin.
Of course, such an unhinged rant didn't go unnoticed, with Synth receiving multiple negative comments on it, which he attributes as the result of this semi-viral tweet:
(A)Synth was not having it, and decided to make two community posts addressing it, as well as a response video titled Twitter Doesn't Like My Zelda Video... a few days after his initial review, where he fought with the people who posted, and defended the validity of said schizo tangent.

SYNTH /v/S THE CASUALS
Coby’s internet career as the last honest video game reviewer™ has not been devoid of controversy, at times getting into spats with other culture warriors of (arguably) both sides of the political spectrum, with both his reviews and himself getting made fun of for his lack of skill, negative attitude, and more importantly, his “non-mainstream views”. Despite this, and much like DSP's very own detractors, Coby's critics oftentimes act much more like lolcows than Coby himself, displaying a vengeful and childish behavior that somehow surpasses his own.
Long Man and the GoW Ragnarök Review
On December 11th 2022 MauLer and others members of EFAP (among them Rags, an open furfag who commissioned yiff pornography/drawn bestiality of his own OC) made an almost 12 HOUR-LONG EPISODE of the aforementioned podcast where they “analyzed” and “debunked” Synth’s GoW Ragnarök review. The podcast sets its tone immediately, as instead of responding to Synth’s original review, they are watching a heavily edited 4 hour version of his GoW streams and videos made by MauLer himself. As part of their "breakdown" they do things like clutching their pearls over minutia like Synth's frequent usage of racial/sexist humor.
Unsurprisingly, this is nothing short of hypocritical on EFAP's part, as associated youtubers like E;R, former EFAP co-host and personal friend of MauLer, is known for the very same style of offensive humor.
But don't worry, if fake and gay moralfaggotry is not your cup of tea we also have regular youtuber moralfaggotry, whining about "brigading" and "dislike-bombings", coming from people who make 12-hour hit pieces discussing the moral value of an individual over his opinions on a video game.
No exceedingly lengthy response video would be complete without its fair share of fart-huffing, luckily EFAP's entire reason to exist revolves around the oversized ego of a group of man children obsessed with mainstream media, and who derive all their personality from pseudo-intellectual reviews of slop consumed by the masses, believing themselves to be above their own medium.
With MauLer and Rags even boasting about how great their own podcast is for almost 10 minutes straight.
Now imagine all these points, on repeat, presented with no pushback, and extended over a total run time of almost 12 hours. So embarrassing was this hit piece that even an intellectual midget like Coby was able to see right through it, who as a result (and in contrast to his later outbursts) decided not to get himself involved in the drama and instead ignore MauLer’s video, simply calling it “petty", "pathetic" and "misleading", as well as saying that a response to it would be "a colossal waste of time".
However, both Coby and MauLer have mentioned their previous slapfight on more than one occasion, with Synth blaming them for mass reporting and shadowbanning his channel, as well as calling EFAP and the larger "The Fandom Menace" group that other mainstream anti-woke youtubers belong to "sellouts" and "grifters"; explaining the reason and causes behind his animosity towards the group.
So, who won in this Meeting of the Manchilds? Which one is the true authority when it comes to movie game Sonyslop? The /v/irgin youtuber or Long Man the pseudointellectual? Well, unless you count going through 20+ hours of footage of somebody you hate purely out of spite, or living with your mom at age 30 playing video games you hate to an audience you find pathetic, I think that I can safely declare both of these faggots as complete and utter losers.
Regardless this drama sort of caused Synth to be "blacklisted" from the wider right wing gaming sphere as he is seen to be too risky to associate with.

There are also plenty of examples of Coby enabling pedophilia within his fanbase. One instance includes the time he expressed his disappointment about how the Palworld dating sim didn't have a loli.

His stream viewers takes this to their advantage, making comments poking fun at Synths various flaws, this of course infuriates Synth.
He has banned many long term viewers of his simply for just making some jokes about him.
This clip is where synth bans Arkkoo, a long time donator, for stating that Christianity is about helping the community.
He bans and mocks Arkkoo by calling him a Pedophile.
Synth often plays a game on stream called Dragon Ball: The Breakers. He takes it very seriously, so seriously that he once had a complete meltdown on stream over losing a few games which resulted in him threatening to kill people over it.
It's not just his streams where he shows this attitude, but also his videos.
After a very poor review of doom, he was naturally called out for this review, basically telling him to gitgud and to understand the mechanics and just the game in general before shitting a review like this out. Synth did not take kindly to this, releasing a 20 minute long 'response' video, which is just coping and seething,
It is ironic that someone like Synth, who prides himself of being an experienced gamer that is much better then the filthy casuals, is getting filtered by doom of all games.

In fact he was also annoyed at Kirsche at one point. This lead his fans to start brigading.
Now after this there was some other interactions with Kirsche, his fans would make fun of these moments by creating Kirsche x Synth edits. One of these edits Synth showed to his mom

A couple months later the start of the real drama would begin, which was caused by Synth reacting to a clip of kirsche and calling her a gold-digger.
Kirsche would very quickly find this out and dm him, which he saw.
This was followed by Synth acting like a sad boy for 2 entire hours over the dm.
In all this, Synthcels world wide were in a state of panic. Synth the destroyer of wokeness acting like a complete soyboy; now talking about his "emotional intelligence" and "moral framework" all because a vtuber whom he called a whore had dmed him. And moreso, was Synth going to lose his born again inceldom to a fat WHORE? He had called her a whore and a gold digger! A Vtuber no less? How could it be so? They had simped so hard and given him so much money! Synth was supposed to fuck THEM! This worry was not helped by Kirsche publicly humiliating him on stream as Synth takes it like a good boy.
This fear was only given further weight from his now infamous "WHOA MAMA" clip.
But the final nail in the coffin was Synth making Kirsche a mod in his streams and censoring his chat just to appease her, something he never did and refused to do so before.
The Synthcels were completely furious at this stage; raising pitchforks against Synth and by extension Kirsche for this entire ordeal. After all how could Synth, the 30 year old porn addicted virgin with zero social skills, fall for any wench that gives him any sort of attention? A truly puzzling question.
Now dear reader reading up to this point you may have come to the conclusion that this situation was massively blown out of proportion, some nothingburger conversations and cringe moments exaggerated by his extremely parasocial fans to make him seem that he betrayed his revolt against the modern world. And if you came to this conclusion, you're probably right, however, Synths response to this is some true gold.
So how did he respond to this backlash? well if you've been paying attention you probably already know the answer.
The ban storm began. Like a MLRS battery, long time listeners were struck down by Lord Synth left and right for daring to go against the narrative.
After this he then stated that his streaming audience who often donates to and supports him are worthless, and he would be completely fine banning them all just for making fun of him. What a great way to treat the people who pay your bills Coby.
This response is very ironic considering not long prior he refused to ban the lolicons in his audience due to their great financial worth to him. But is okay with banning long time viewers for the crime of posting "WOAH MAMA" in his chat.
He recently banned Claudio Hernández, the reason? For being a furfag pedophile, because everyone in Synths chat wanted him removed or literally a book worth of reasons he should have been banned? No. He was banned because he made fun of queen Kirsche.
Madness followed. The Synthetic Man Appreciation Thread topped the Kiwi Farms trending chart like a hit Linkin Park album in 2007. ‘Tourists’ flooded the thread. And the gay circle jerk was smashed to pieces.
Synth did not at all like this, in a clip he implied that null should shut down anyone saying negative things about lord Synth.
The thread got so big that null had a small section on MATI where he reacted to a clip of Synth defending lolicon, afterwards he called him a dumbass. How did Synth respond? By deflecting and calling null a pedophile.
He quickly tried taking it back along with sending null an ""apology"" email, to little avail.
But at least the drama with null is over now... Nope, he immediately took it back.
And here we are today. In the shattered remains of the Synthetic Man fanbase, now at civil war. A tale of gooning, gaming, more gooning, and gushing for anime girls. All because Synthetic Man simped for a Vtuber. God help this man.
