I will go against the tide and say I like him because his heart is in the right place. He makes some cringe things yes, but he is not a federal investigative agency. He is just a guy on the internet.

This is not the first time he ends up talking more than he should, see his feud with Kurzgesagt.

I don't blame him for settling. He is not the FBI. Losing a lawsuit would ruin him financially. That being said, I hope he does get a reality check and remembers he is not law enforcement, and he is just an entertainer.

He legally can only bell the alarm, but he can't defame or accuse people of crimes without risk. If he wants to directly fight scammers he needs to apply to the police , the FBI, or whatever, not YouTube.

Voidzilla is the only way I watch him usually. It is to the point, no fluff and it covers interesting scams that are usually either completely ignored or hyped as completely legitimate by grifters. The main channel with heavy CG and the cringe detective/bartender shtick is a bit annoying but it is usually autoskipped by SponsorBlock. His most recent LEGO video is just him sitting at a desk presenting evidence, so it is hopefully a move in the right direction.
That said, he is still literally reddit incarnate

Remember Nerd City? He was also the internet investigators it guy who could never do anything wrong. Then it turned out to be a petty man who kept stalking his Reddit or something. Can't remember.

Does anyone else have more info on this? He was relatively big a few years ago, then dropped off the face of the fucking earth up until 3 weeks ago. He posted a single video that got a fraction of the previous views and has been radio silent ever since. Some were good for the time, others not so much.

The cliffnotes of NerdCity is that back in 2023 he tried to make """good""" NFTs that were environmentally friendly and physical. This failed spectacularly and so he moved on to make the TBH podcast with Pyrocynical, Dolan Dark and Colossaliscrazy. During an episode, they were talking about the infamous MoistCritical and Sneako debate about if a child can consent, Christopher Stephen Tyson and Shadman. In it, Pyro says he considered height surgery when he was young but realized it was dumb but then says that he holds no opinion on surgery in general and mentions his tranny audience. NerdCity then presses Pyro why he thinks a man breaking his leg bones and stretching the muscles to gain a few more inches is bad but somehow a man cutting his dick off is okay. This made Pyro's and Dolan's community angry and NerdCity decided that this was the perfect time to shill his NFTs in the TBH Discord and reddit. He was dogpiled (literally dogpiled since everytime he shilled his NFTs, everyone there spammed puppy pictures along with 'KYS') and sperged out and ragequits his own podcast.

There isn't a better cautionary tale than this. A man making his own downfall by building as high as he can, making an angry mob by gathering an adoring audience and all over some fad that will fade faster than he will.

Ghost archive is acting wonky and yt-dlp isn't working for me. I just wanted to share that Coffee paid some guy to do a gay rap for his outro like 5 years ago.

I used to like watching his content, but stopped since he started becoming more performative. It was very strange to heard him having a weird back-and-forth with a robot butler. I don't suppose that he's a bad guy though, just a little cringe.
