COLD CASES: Tevin's soda can saga - BREAKING: slapfight rumored to be behind poisoning

(this is now a dedicated thread to discuss this specific Tevin thing because its what people had mainly been discussing in the megathread and now that its splintered into discussions about forensics and touch DNA it needs a separate thread)

This story has nothing directly to do with DSP, but is just one of those "weird things" that happens to people involved in the DSP extended cinematic universe and people have been discussing it a fair amount to the point where it has its own thread now.

Recently an unknown party managed to infiltrate DSP's high-level security systems with fabricated fan art and buttons which were used on his Twitch channel which contained subliminal imagery of Tevin. It is believed that Tevin was not directly involved in this incident.

TLDR:

• Tevin is currently the most well known DSP "detractor" and recently tweeted that he feared being arrested due to an incident at work.

• Tevin shared on his stream that he got accused of poisoning someone at work/attempted murder by a coworker and lost his job or quit over it (he essentially got forced into resigning).
• A currently unidentified woman drank her soda which she claimed had been poisoned. Initial discussion says the substance used to adulterate the carbonated beverage is ammonia, which is basically bleach.
  • The police have stated via the media that they are still testing the adulterant, however haven't made any official statement regarding the substance.
• Tevin said he was interrogated by the campus police for an extended period of time, including threats of DNA evidence and security cameras although he has not currently been taken into custody.
• News articles covering the story have stated that there is a person of interest who is a male, however it has not been established that this is actually referring to Tevin at this point in time.
• After doing his stream, Tevin again streamed and fell asleep mid stream.

Reactions:

• DSP hasn't said anything about this situation (so far)
• Kghaleon, a known furry, has stated that he hopes Tevin gets arrested. It is believed that his statement is due to jealousy at not being able to work at a veterinary establishment and thus have direct access to farm animals.

thats odd and kinda disturbing no matter if you're someone inclined to believe or disbelieve him. Not that I don't want people to confess their drama being morbidly curious and paranoid. But its kinda weird for Tevin's own interests to admit something like this to online strangers. You spill to your RL fam and friends and if you don't have them get them instead of relying on the internet as a crutch ear to talk to. Now DSP cultists have something to hold over his head. But what do I know. I'd certainly like a world where every alleged poisoner voluntarily came forward.

No that's just the crime log. Someone has reported a crime and they have to log it in their system and open a case. It doesn't mean anyone has been charged.

Yeah but the description being "Battery"? But i guess it doesn't only involve physical contact, this just seems too weird, if you notice in the crime log thing, they also had a theft in the Vet days early

Edit: as i was typing that, Tevin just said that the woman said there was a "fight" so i guess "Battery" fits in.....this is turning into a worse situation by the minute, a woman telling the police "The black man said to me that i had to drink the bleach or i would be slapped, i had no choice mr detective"

Edit 2: Can't Tevin just sue the fuck outta them after he's set innocent? Because first he got wrongly terminated, and if they eventually leak his name, he has to take action about this, especially with them saying he had a fight with that old woman before she says he tried to poison her with bleach

idk but if a detective told me they had DNA evidence of me touching a coffee cup which I'd allegedly poisoned and not drunk from I'd just laugh and walk off.

You get DNA from blood stains, saliva samples, hair and bodily secretions. You don't get them from touching a cup lol.

No, its doubtful.

All the detective has really done is try to rattle him a bit, which is what they normally do. I don't think they'll leak his name unless they actually charge him with something.

He also didn't get wrongly terminated, he said he agreed to resign so they didn't have to terminate him. While that is complete bullshit in a lot of ways, I'm pretty sure it means he threw away the right to sue for wrongful termination.

I suppose, and he did it because he wanted to get a job later on life without any drama attached to it, if only Tevin could've been just like Dave and latch into a shitty job and have its co-workers mock him and not "care" about it....
