The companies don't pay shit, but you make more crowdfunding. Of course, this is not necessarily true... SGM or Snyder make big bucks working at DC, between books, royalties, and the connected entertainment products. However, while Richard or Frog do well, how well does someone only getting thirty to fifty thousand do? There is, ultimately, a creme of the crop and only so many pay piggies to go around.

This is stupid. Liana Kerzner is is pretty adamant about not getting involved in comicsgate. Twitter mob is probably angry that she refuses to support the cause. Either that, or people are still butthurt about Kerzner pointing out how shitty Sarkesian is, her enthusiasm towards attractive women, being buddies with the likes of Frank Cho, and statements that could be framed as "TERF adjacent."
She mentions it once in a while. Kerzner generally considers the whole thing stupid and refuses to get involved.
Many people have low standards nowadays. That's what happens when nearly all mainstream media is shit and people refuse to seek out the good niche stuff.

Generally speaking, the take of Shahin's elderly comic merchant panel is that they are confused and horrified by Comicsgate and what it stands for.
EIC of Comicsbeat.com Heidi MacDonald was also there to decry Frog's dunking on Tess Fowler, and may have gotten off scot free, but an enterprising journalist goaded the mildly autistic host press on a hot topic issue that otherwise may have gone overlooked...
