Doug Ernst largely left Comicsgate during mid 2018 during the "Transcripts Saga", which was the first true schism of Comicsgate. It involved OG-CG members like Tim Lim, Brett R Smith, Doug Ernst and Capn Cummings taking exception to Ethan's prior comments about Trump Space Force and whether or not politics belonged in CG. Since then Doug has kept his nose clean, focused on his own work and taking the mainstream to task and avoids drama as much as possible. If I understand correctly things are amicable between him and Frog and both rarely talk about one another, if at all.

In related news, it would appear @NasserRabadi13 has had a falling out with Frog and posted a 20 minute apology to him.

The apology video opens with Nasser claiming he had both @TESTEFY-HD and Panboy on for a debate on his previous now privated Afterlife With Nasser #33. Since Nasser is now pulling a Liam Gray and privating his streams, the apology stream will be embedded below for prosperity.

Nasser was unaware Warcampaign had begun dropping DM's with Ethan as previously described in my previous post on the last page and something about referring to Ethan as "Starlord" which Ethan took as Nasser referring to him being gay or bi. It would appear that this is all a misunderstanding and Nasser comes across genuine and apologetic just wishing to get Pan and Testefy on his channel for a debate to improve his ratings.

Whether Frog forgives Nasser for this recent transgression has not been confirmed, it would appear to be all a big misunderstanding between the two. Nasser's true crime however is privating what appears to be an interesting stream and hiding it from the official Comicsgate historical community, aka The Farms. I would politely ask Frog to forgive Nasser's autism and Nasser to unprivate the stream so it can be further dissected and preserved for prosperity.

I knew things between Doug and Sciverfrog were at best professionally distanced and personally strained at least since the Poulter Plug dump on twitter. Didn't know that Ernst's semi-departure was grouped into the Tim Lim exit, thanks for that. Everyone in ComicsGate knows about Narwhal, and he's had three successful projects already. This art style takes some getting used to, (yes, it looks simple and jagged) but it's alive and beautifully composed.

Narwhal is a terrific storyteller. If you read one of his books, these images just seem animated.

The release of this DM paradoxically raises more questions than it answers.

1. Was Doug Ernst deceiving Ethan when he claimed Jon Malin was responsible for spreading the initial leaks?
2. Did Jon Malin in fact provide these screenshots to Tim and/or Jon Del Arroz, when it was previously theorized they were in the groups themselves?

I joined it late and got Frog vs Micah toe-to-toe, Liam vs absent Frog, then Berserk Guts has an emotional rant against Testefy and says he's literally shaking, then Testefy comes on the stream, haha.

Sample of the comedy: Berserk Guts declares everyone in CG to be nazis. Someone comes on and says he sounds like an SJW, calling everyone nazis. Berserk retorts that everyone IS a nazi because they're all trying to put him on the train. Then he vows that HE will be the one putting THEM on the train. @TESTEFY-HD then says, "That would make you the nazi, Berserk". And Berserk is like "Good! GOOD."

Regardless, from what they both admitted it would appear that Ritter was in fact compromised in some way by a honey-trap orchestrated through WC probably using Mandy as bait. Ethan infers that Kyle, infatuated, was stalking Mandy and other girls as a result.

Ro says Ethan willingly took up responsibility for promoting the smaller creators when he pushed out WC who Ro claims ensured their success through WC promotion. (I don't know if that's true. WC did promote smaller creators and it's reasonable to think it helped when WC had Ethan's support.) I don't know if Ethan claimed he'd take up the slack. He neither confirms or denies.

Ethan (ironically) accuses Ro of harassing Tim Lim. (true) Which is funny because Ethan praised WarCampaign for that for a couple of years. "Founded on harassing Tim Lim." (also true)

Ethan challenges Ro to drop all his incriminating DM's about him. Ro promises to do it slowly.

Ethan brings up that Ro used to worship him and cow tow to him... making peoples lives miserable in CG and making it difficult to succeed and make a living. (That's the quiet part out loud. Ethan recovers well shifting the focus away from him and back to whatever degeneracy was happening between Ritter and Summers. (Very smooth.)

Nope. Ethan know's he's ahead on the score cards so he dips out as fast as he can leaving Ro with no more opportunity to engage. (Chicken shit for sure but good strategy in a game with little in the way of rules.)

Turns out Oz facilitated all this by keeping Ro muted so he couldn't shoot back. (It pays to have a referee on your side.)

Ro shoot's back into the either claiming his motives are pure because he didn't play ball and stopped cow-towing to Ethan when Vestige 2 could have shot past 120k if he "just played ball". (True. But I question the purity of this career trolls motives.)

Ro makes a play for simpathy invoke his family and the fact that Ethan shared info about Ro's gravely ill wife that Malin in turn 'used against Ro' in DM's.

Interesting interaction between Ro and Frog here. Despite appearances I'm not sure who came out on top. It seems to me that Ro likely has a huge pile of dirt on Ethan but it's hard to play that card without revealing himself to be just as big an asshole or bigger.

Ethan has figured this out and he's ready to bluff and dare Ro to drop the DM's knowing Ro won't do it out of self preservation.

I suspect that's the reason Ro built up a narrative about his self professed success at work. He was telling Ethan that he didn't need the money and he would start dropping bombs even if he was going to get caught in the blast.

The reason it's fun watching this clown show rodeo is because they deserve everything they get.

Absolutely. Sciverfraud would have a long way to go before he hits critical gunt mass. A third Ethan, more well known than the other two combined, is another huge disappointment. They all started out with likeable qualities that fueled their popularity. But they all shared a chronic narcissistic tendency that crept in and ultimately betrayed them in the end. Only the Gunt seems headed for the poorhouse though.

Now I think it's time I safely discard my theory of an extended gayfabe between Kebab and Frog. The big question as to why it is that Ethan has a knack for attracting these very special personalities keeps me coming back to this ever-evolving disaster. The narcissist may have a limited social toolset, but they do make sure they have an established "in". The only consistent lure EVS has had going for him was his artwork and now we can add his big audience and big money to the list. It's attracts a lot of people at first, but once they're hooked he really likes to denigrate and make sport of those around him if it makes him look better. His whole schtick relies completely on whether or not those three main hooks are held above everything else for his tadpoles. It's pretty clear after so many years that if he is going to have anyone in his corner, they're going to have to leave their dignity at the door for his benefit. It's the one thing money can't buy and Ethan doesn't seem to have a sense of it for himself or anyone else.

His comics aren't bad at all, but they simply aren't good enough to justify all the other garbage associated with him. Nothing he has done can't be atoned for or repaired, but he has to learn how not to be such an asshat when it comes to conducting his business. Say the same thing behind the scenes as he would in front of his tadpoles. I really can't stand this underhanded crap he keeps pulling. I am glad that his foulest creation has begun to bite his fingers. Serves him right.
