This. You guys might grumble about some of us a-logging about Ethan, but all this reeing is starting to look a step or two away from cancel culture when it comes to Doug.

I don't know what's going on. Regarding Preston, and why someone 'pushing Jesus shit' associates with pornographers, it may be a simple act of forgiveness after someone's confessed their sordid past. Even Jesus reached out to hookers and thieves and other lower-than-low outcasts. Not to discount glomming onto another 'anti-CGer' though.
With the new pedo shit, it could be that Doug's too wrapped up in his politisperging and himself to notice just yet. I assume he isn't checking this thread every couple of hours to keep up with the newest as-it-happens CG scandal.
I can guess Doug's had a lot of people directly demanding that he disavow Preston and cast him into the outer darkness, and if he just decides to ignore it, that's another black mark against him. But I want to see more development before I pick up my torch and pitchfork.

We know what Ethan is like, his past actions, his patterns of behaviour, his attitude towards his allies and customers. That's why we're on his case. We know a lot about what Doug's done too, and if this six degrees of separation shit is the worst thing he's done, so be it. But I still think the whole is lesser to the shenanigans of the other big ol' comics narcissist, and let's hang around until he's actually done it.

Drawing more, well, that's positive. Though at the same time, 3-4 years to start drawing more. I don't know if he needs asspats for something he should have been doing anyway, instead of sperging about Star Wars and gay-opping other youtubers.

Doug TenNapel, the guy that refused to promote Trixie Cain because of his "Christianity" is now rallying behind some guy who is livestreaming a reading of his buddy's lolita porn comic and is also declaring he will publish it. If nothing else, we're getting a good objective look at TenNapel's true value system. In order of priority:
  1. Even the faintest chance of self-advancement, such as Preston Poulter having some hollywood connection back when he was producing cuckold pornography
  2. His Christianity and Christian values,
  3. Any obligation to the people he's gathered around him.

Alien Alamo was the first 2021 title to pass $50950 last week (the Pandemic threshold that separates the short head from the long tail). Creed no doubt will follow shortly soon after, and after that so will Groken by Kenneth Rocafort and, eventually I believe, Supervillains Anonymous by Adam Friended. I don't know if that makes them S-Class or merely A-Class though.

Jon Malin, having one closed project that's being written and drawn by other people, is the easy bet for 2021's first "big" CG project in the works, but it's hard to say how far COVID-19 set him back. Zack could also announce another Jawbreakers at any time after his current overdue projects fulfill, but again who knows with Zack.

Yep. Doug said the cover had too much boobs and blood and he wouldn't even back it (or the variant covers) because he "didnt want his family to see it." And he wouldnt promote it because his channel is a "family show" where he can talk about his porn addiction but not my book...

I dont see what he had against the cover.

KF does that time to time when you try to insert an image and it just shows an attachment link where it doesn't work. Usually editing the post and redoing the image does the trick. Throwing this out there for anyone else if it happens to them, I've had this issue multiple times.

Addendum. Speak of the Frog Devil, and he shall appear.

Ethan livestreamed while most people were asleep. It starts off as an unbearable snore stream.

Then something amazing happens.


Ethan spits fire at the 58 minute mark. He rightly points out that nothing in the Wal-Mart deal said they couldn't fulfill their backers. he points to why backers are angry. They got part of the book after some idiot was able to drop 4.99 on it at a Wal mart, meaning they didn't even get the exclusive first appearance of Red Rooster. He perfectly puts that allot of Red Rooster's support came from people who 'believed in the cause' and that "We", crowdfunders, are not here to gaslight or infuriate backers.

It's an incendiary address in which Frogman turns class traitor in some ways.

I like Kelsey, but he really needs to learn to read the room.

Yeah, that's a bad take. Kelsey is one of my favorite people in CG by a considerable margin, but the Breitweisers are not the hill to die on. I know he's on Norah's Saga and everything, but I'd have just stayed out of this one instead of rushing to their defense. What they've done is not defensible. And to address his point about the lack of outrage for other projects as late as RR... people are plenty pissed about things like Sovereign and Detective Dead. But those guys aren't flaunting their Walmart deals and pissing on their customers in the same way that Mitch is.
