Quick update:

The big Comicsgate/Fandom Menace crossover event is still the leading source of content these days, with other events like Liam appearing on Piper's 8 hour disasterpiece of a drunkstream, JDA's appearance on the Killstream for IBS with a no-show Quartering, various new launches and Jon Malin's new variant cover taking a backseat.

Social justice Star Wars streamers are busy pre-locking down their twitters before going live out of fear of the Kiwi that Smugs. Even naifs like 'Hannah', operating under the belief that Rewriting Ripley were doxed for their "ship" by people intolerant to Reyloism that refuse to engage in civil discourse, know vaguely of this new shadow to fall upon the Star Wars fan community. As opposed to an overt deplatforming campaign tied to a former LucasFilm employee, hiding behind blockbots while host Mariet Guerrero declares "there is zero purpose to having dialogue" with people who disagree with them.

At first the rest of the stream proceeded with the women (the men were silent) loudly declaring that it should be acceptable to enjoy the sequel trilogy without being swarmed by speds. The short-haired heavyset one repeats that fandom arguments shouldn't result in personal attacks on appearance at least a dozen times. Then "That Star Wars Girl" brought her followers, due to a pre-existing beef with "Meg", crashed this stream in the comments for a confrontation over calls to shut her down. They they start talking about how it's okay to shut down hate speech. Then the (male) host finally interjects to argue that if he was a shill he'd have more than 74 subscribers after 4 years but his DMs are open for any sort of discussion and he just wants to discuss fucking Star Wars.

Fandom Menace leader Jeremy Griggs/DDayCobra/Geeks + Gamers responded to being bullied by Reylos by wrapping himself in the trans flag and vowing to cuck so hard to the left that they will find nothing to cancel him with and directing his employees towards twitch game livestreaming, a move regarded as "bitchmade" by all except the most deeply entrenched simps. Not even Rewriting Ripley themselves seem to respect the gargler guy or his "brand" afterwards, declaring Frog to be "the backbone of the Fandom Menace".

Recreational internet sleuth @VIkkiVerse sparked up a conversation with Comicsgate founder and secret CG Grand Wizard ThatUmbrellaGuy about how Griggs, or someone with access to his iMDB, has him listed with "executive producer" credits for not just all of Geeks + Gamers but also all of TUG's, YF's, Frog's and essentially all the "Anti-SJW pop culture commentary" sphere's livestreams.

TUG, after a brief smuckling about how these people are idiots and he doesn't actually have any relationship with Griggs, evidently realized this was actually true and took to youtube to blow the lid off this conspiracy.

Using Occam's Razor, the man of mailbox cuts to the quick of the matter - that this is part of a massive conspiracy of the SJWs and unnamed edgelords (presumably Vikki) to tie Geeks and Gamers with all right-of-left youtubers, brand them as "alt-right" and, once that's cemented, use the iMDB accreditation to tar everyone else associated with them as well. Destroying them all in one fell swoop. TUG doesn't really have all the details of how this would work all fleshed out or what exactly anyone can do about it, so he closes out by inviting the viewer to join in him saying "fuck you SJWs" in the comment section and that it's not just the stupids who believe this crap that are of concern but also the unnamed psychopaths (again, presumably Vikki) who spread it.

Doug Ernst launched Soulfinder: Black Tide yesterday by the unprecedented switch from crowdfunding comics to putting the money up front himself and selling the already completed comics from an online webstore owned by himself, cutting out the KS/IGG middle man. The launch stream itself was a fairly unfocused litany of complaints about comic creators like Mitch Breitweiser who don't fulfill their campaigns, creators drunkenly picking fights with to distract from related failures, Nasser for leaking Doug's DMs in this thread, and me for calling him thin-skinned. Even "Shadow King" shows up to troll the chat about how Ernst betrayed Mitch, which predictably sets him off. Also for some reason he heavily courts Comic Book Hut and he Hut's patronage, followed by a rant about how males need to be assertive and take charge that isn't really related to anything.

One person that noticed, and seems especially enthused over this transition of Ernst's is Ya Boi Zack. Zack comes off as extremely thrilled at a business model that requires zero crowdfunding campaigning and has literally zero wait time between launch and delivery. Now I would argue that online stores are hardly a new thing - Nasser Rabadi and Jon del Arroz are very familiar with the concept of print-to-order books being sold off of Amazon, which if anything is even more efficient than what Ernst is doing. Ultimately what I figure this will prove is something I've posted about in the past: that while "zero wait time" is a common complaint, some of the most successful CG campaigns have the highest wait time between launch and delivery - not so much because thats what people want but that's how important effective marketing is. People may be happier with immediate fulfillment, and ideally will be that much more likely to buy more product, but it is not a replacement for promotion.

I guess being "the backbone of the Fandom Menace" these days just means that I humiliated Reylos most effectively. I barely talk about Star Wars anymore, and in the past 6 months, any videos I made were mostly enthusiastic, thanks to the Mandalorian being so good. But I did kick some Reylo ass two years ago, taking apart their creepy little subculture for the edification of disgusted boomers. I guess they're still sore.

Vikki has a thing about this IMDB/Jeremy conspiracy...I gotta say, all of my videos turned up on my IMDB page, and I didn't put any of them there. I think it's just automatic, and I doubt Jeremy Griggs knows about his credit on some of my videos, or gives a shit. Barking up the wrong tree, Vickers.

Zack's initial technique for selling comics was perfect.

-Offer a simple, flat product for $25.

-Use IndieGoGo, create excitement with videos and social media to generate funds that customers can watch accumulate, (which in itself adds to the excitement.)

-Add fun, but also lightweight and flat paper stretch goal bonuses

-Get an exact idea of how many books you should print, based on these preorders

-Fulfill by yourself, using Gemini mailers.

-Keep profits

-Do it again.

This WORKS. I don't know why so many CGers are retreating back towards mainstream strategies that have proven ineffective for indies. But I'll just be over here, looking.

Soulfinder: Black Tide looks great.

I think Ernst should do an IGG and a KS campaign simply for exposure. Either way launching a completed hardcover for the same price others sell floppies for ready to deliver isn't something to be criticized. It sounds like sour grapes.

In other news the heavily promoted Red Rooster book I ordered 3.5 years ago is supposedly ready for fulfillment and I won't be buying from anyone I waited 1 year+ past projected delivery for ever again.

When creators go over a year to deliver what they've already been paid for it shows their disrespect and disregard for their patrons. Patrons who keep supporting them are cucks.

It works. Absolutely zero reason to do a print overrun or hold stock or use a company to distribute in 2021.

My only other test market is Amazon cuz I sell so many book-books there it makes sense for me to tap into a market who's not following on social media, but I'm an outlier case because most people don't have huge amazon followings for novels going into this. But my profitability on comic books that launch there without indiegogo is much lower.

I don't have "a thing". That our Dear Leader, TUG, would take what was in essence a shit post, and weave a wild conspiracy around it AND take time out of his preparations for his vacation, fills me with joy.

I received my copy of SoulFinder" Demon's match a little over a year ago. I've been eagerly awaiting book 2 ever since. There is something to be said for the near instant gratification of ordering the sequel and having it shipped within 24 hours, instead of waiting for a campaign to fulfill, print, and ship.

Judging by the fact that Ernst beat his first day IGG in both money and buyers for book 1 with SoulFinder: Black Tide, I'm not alone in this.

SoulFinder: Demon's Match Update

I'm not trying to argue that one method is better than the other, here, simply that the formula you and many other crowdfunders are following isn't the only path to success.

If you asked TUG if he knew what time it was he'd do a three hour cope stream about your 'Machiavellian plan to destroy him' by asking and maybe try to get the Quartering to launch a crowdfunder on his behalf to fight your attempts to 'destroy his family' or whatever.

TUG is gonna be TUG.

I agree. It's a lot more fun when you are interacting with the creator to help realize the product and starting with nothing to build to a goal gamifies the entire proceeding. It's so much more fun than fronting the money for a book and hoping people buy it off Amazon like you're out there fishing. You can build that loyal rabid smallish but large enough to make a living fanbase and never have to worry about being deplatformed. (Like SJWs at Amazon are want to do).

I can't be the only one whose ears bend every time he opens a video with that stupid "Hey there" line followed by Johnny Depp cocksucking / Amber Heard is the Devil videos. Hearing it in my mind is guaranteed to induce skin-crawling.

The Reylo purple haired nut jobs are pulling "facts" straight out of their ass. Shipping two characters everyone hates with erotic fan art and stories is peak lolcow behavior now they are mad they ended up with their public info exposed.

Since they are determined to run elaborate gay ops in the most retarded, public, and tin-foil hat conspiracy way possible their targets deserve to know who these freaks are.

They want to try to run an organized campaign to harass and deplatform entertainers but also hide behind anonymity. It wouldn't even be that interesting if they didn't have high level Lucasfilm employees and media outlets pulling their strings.

Ethan, you can surely use this fake drama started by screeching harpies and spergs to sell more Frog comics and get superchats dunking on them. I guess you can nickname your next brand new Mercedes "Reylo" since they're funding it.

YBZ-- What a total retard. He doesn't listen to anyone which has resulted in ALL of his many unforced errors. Cut him loose E. He's determined to wreck himself.

Thanks for the insight Jon. I agree producing stock before you understand the demand is sucker shit.

I kinda feel bad for Liam because he's suffering from some kind of severe mental disorder and has delusions like a wife and kid that are clearly not real. The guy is very ill.

TUG on the other hand is a total sleaze. Him and his wife are fucking disgusting.

Can anyone give me a qrd on what's happening with TUG? There's nothing special in his thread.

TUG is TUG. Mailbox Matt is up to his usual grift. Total loser.

Here is LIAM GRAY on the piper stream admitting to doxing Ciderhype and calling the police on him. Yet, on a stream he has taken down, Liam said he never called the police on him.

Here is the Piper stream since I am sure its going to get taken down:

Did he publish the information? No? Then it isn't doxing. That being said, using backer information to fuck with them is shitty to do and is another reason why you shouldn't back anything by Liam Gray of Conquest Comic, writer for Xenotype, or #WASCAMPAIGN.

The secret agents our lord and saviour TUG has sent in secret to take out his enemies is finally revealed.

It is high time we, the Cult of Umbrella Controlled Kiwis (C.U.C.Ks) play our final part in his masterplan, by revealing his complete domination of his opponents!

Hail TUG!
