So lets talk about she ra. SJW comics spilling into other mediums and perverting old IPs to fit a woke ideology.

As someone who actually watched the original she ra, this really makes me sad. Yeah, she was a he man spin off, but I always found her to be the far more interesting of the two. To see her degraded in this way, it's like someone took something pure and made it vile. It feels like vandalism, and the fact that idiot SJWs say we are just mad cuz we can't fap to a cartoon is all the more infuriating. We are mad that they took something beautiful and deformed it to fit an agenda.

Nerkish is more fun (kind of the Kiwi Farms of comics), but Zack makes a better pseudo spokes model for the "movement" if you will, mostly in that he actually makes comics and he's like the pedestrian version of Kiwi Farms. There's quite a few others though, most centered less on roasting and more on critique. The Quartering probably being the most popular, but he covers all manner of geekdom, not just comics. There's also Capn Cummings and Just Some Guy and a number of others.

I very routinely watch their videos when there's "nothing else on", mostly because they're so consistent with putting out new material... unlike other people... *cough* Chris Ray Gun *cough*

I give credit for DnC for being the most effective of all the comic book fan critics of the absolute clusterfuck that the comics book industry has turned into. However...

DnC expresses his frustration with how this now the third attempt by Marvel and hoping that they wakeup to the error of their ways.

What DnC appears to not realize or address is this progressive or sjw or feminist push is coming from the highest levels - major progressive institutions are driving these culture war agendas in movies, comics books, games, etc. And there is no one pushing them back. All the pushback is directed at the low levels - twitter drama with 'alt lifestyle freakazoids' as DnC calls them or creepy nutcases like Mark Waid and pointless lie detector crap.

Getting these low level foot soldiers banned or fired accomplishes nothing. CEOs and presidents of them major media companies are embracing this massive push by progressive organizations. Just listen to talks given by major company CEOs over the past year or so and you will hear them all parroting the SJW 'diversity' mantra.

It doesn't matter who is running Marvel. Whoever is, even if they wanted to fix this ideological generated fiasco, couldn't.
It's why someone like Kathleen Kennedy can fuck up a franchise that before a year or so ago was thought to be an un fuckable gold mine and still have a job.

It's been decided at the highest levels of these media companies that 'diversity' and 'representation' is good and they are on the right side of history.

These CEOs and lower level execs all live in ideological echo chambers along with these progressive organizations. People like DnC appear to them as nothing more than alt-right harassers to them. They all believe that they just need to keep forcing their crap down the racist, sexist, man babbies throats and they will eventually become woke.

Comic book fans are in the best position compared to movies and games since it is so relatively cheap to do exactly what DnC and others are doing by creating their own fan supported content.

That is what DnC should be focused on 95 percent of the time. Continue to document Marvel and other woke comic book companies self destructing but it is a waste of time hoping for change with the Mark Waid crap or any of the other irrelevant toxic wackos infesting the major comic book companies.

I think it's more likely the idiots coming out of art school and management schools (with psychology, education etc backgrounds) have convinced the hard nosed business types that run these companies that the kids these days want this nonsense.

Okay yeah it's up to a guy who makes videos with a phone camera pointed at his crotch when he pulls into a drive thru Burger King to single-handedly overturn the cultural output of the most powerful media companies in the history of mankind. Sure thing dude.

The entire reason why Zack is so cool is that he has no pretensions of being some edgelord crusader who's going to take down THE SYSTEM. Dude eats tortas, makes comics, drives without his shoes and doesn't afraid of anything.

Actually they might be to some extent. D&C mentioned in one of his billion videos that one of his "insiders" claims a lot of "SJW" decisions come straight from the top. Disney will decree that there's going to be a "diversity book" featuring characters X, Y, and Z for example. The actual execution of it, who they hire, how they edit and so on, is entirely on Marvel though.

He knows where the push is coming from, but DnC is :optimistic: about a change occurring at Marvel and hopes the loss of revenue and insane ramblings of the employees will eventually make some Disney money man sit up and take notice. As comics make up a pittance of Disney's revenue it probably won't happen until the first movie failure or when they run out of good stories to translate into movies. CG thinks either / both might happen with the upcoming Captain Marvel movie.

Mentioned in a recent video he was looking forward to changes C.B Cebulski was going to bring after he immediately cancelled low selling shit books, but now thinks Sana Amanat is running the show due to bringing back said shit books and 'lifestyle' branding attempt. The CEOs and presidents are the man behind the curtain; how exactly do you think DnC can interact with them to 'push back'? He's not exactly invited into the boardroom, most don't use social media and communicate with plebs through press releases or shill media outlets.

Focusing on the nut-jobs and their terrible books gives him a huge amount of content, grows his audience which he then can sell stuff too. Pissing of the nut-jobs results in more content/audience and product sold (stores/MW spergout almost doubled his original indigogo run). It also seems to make him happy, even without any financial reward, and importantly gives us content too
