I've only watched a few DnC videos and for the low amount of effort he puts into production quality he deserves credit for making such a massive impact on the comics industry.

But, holy crap, do videos like this one make him look like an idiot.

He has the perfect narrative going:

* Death threats against him
* Doxing attempts against him
* His children being targeted by SJWs
* Comics industry people tell him he should make his own comic instead of criticizing the garbage they are putting out
* He puts out a very pedestrian and completely non-controversial comics with a massively successful crowdfunding campaign
* Attacked by the creep nutcase Mark Waid who gets DnC's comic publishing contract canceled

All he had to do was keep reminding everyone:

* Of the disgusting attacks on himself and his family
* Of his crowd funded comic book
* Of all the other artists now coming out with their own independent comics

Instead DnC is stupid enough to get into lie detector challenge crap?

I don't think DnC believes MW offer is serious and is trolling him by saying 'sure, go ahead I'll even pay for it'. If a polygraph was taken I'm sure DnC would laugh and make many videos with the answers. I just wish the lawsuit would hurry up and go through, DnC's been cagey about answering questions related to it on live-streams I've seen except for talking about seeing a few lawyers and difficulty in which state to take action. It really appears like slam dunk cases, especially with MW further rants about DnC since the incident and if MW invoked the Marvel name, wew-lad. The Maddox LOLsuit might look tame by the time discovery was finished.

I don't think the little creep Mark Waid is directly responsible for getting DnC's publishing contract canceled. The publisher initial story was someone in tears and a panic over attacks against his employees and family. That isn't nutcase Mark Waid sperging. That is the standard social justice social media hate mob style attack.

Yes, but from what I've read it doesn't sound like that was the reason for the cancelation. It was the sickening social justice hate mob that attacked the publisher's employees and family.

GamerGate is now mostly SJWs beating on devs or other autists so it's weird to see them go after someone who's a bit player and overall likable. He praises good books with minority characters so this isn't some /pol/tard. From an outsider's perspective, it's petty and even worse when you realize it's from people like Waid.

That's one of my favorite parts. I get some of these people are freelancers but most people aren't going to see that so they just see a Disney employee losing their shit and claiming to be "the little guy" in an argument with.....some generic dad.

Because he's the biggest/was the first channel of YouTube comic critics. That automatically gives him power, and since he's their enemy, he's a high priority target. Look at their other large targets; EVS is a well known artist in the industry, so he has market value, and Antarctic Press can actually publish and spread DnC's content if left unchallenged.

It has nothing to do with Antarctic canceling DnC's publishing contract. Antarctic has already made it clear why they canceled the contract - a mass of threats against their employees and their employee's families.

Mark Waid is never going to take a polygraph for this, calm down. The SJW/Pros fucking up the AP deal was a huge mistake on their part when you look at it now as there was no chance Zach (or the other comic folks who've taken to crowdfunding) was going to get the promotion or funding that he has now from AP. I've been watching D&C long enough to know he's not rêtarded, so it's safe to assume he knows that fact as well.

As others have said, that video where he offers to pay is more of a "Yeah, sure you will Mark" than "OMG, I've finally got him!!1!!" Even assuming that I'm wrong about that it still remains that Waid will never actually do it, he just thought people would say "Oh, well I guess he didn't do it in that case." This is just Mark being an idiot and thinking people will take him at his word while not comprehending that even the people in the industry he's "protecting" don't want his unstable ass anywhere near them.

The fact he got a bodyguard makes me think he did receive actual death threats but judging from these pics he obviously didn't take them seriously. Either DC forced him to get bodyguard just in case or King just wanted to spend the day with his very large friend.
