Tim and one of the others even tried changing the subject quickly more than once to help him avoid coming off as a complete loon, yet he persisted.

It seems as if his premise is that every person shares his ethic. He can't see an incentive to buying up the roads in a city and blocking them off because he would never do such a thing so it just wouldn't happen, As if sociopathic robber barons simple don't exist on his plane of existence. All the laws regulating public/private property were just created one day a long time ago for the sole benefit of The Man when in fact every one of those laws came to be as a reaction to actual horrible abuse from socipaths.
Yeah, you just have watched a person like Frog for any length of time to realize that people with power will do all kinds of heinous, malicious, and immoral things to people they don't like just because they have the power to do so. You think Frog wouldn't have cut off road access for Dirtworm, Smiller or Methwin in a heartbeat if it was in his power to do so? Lol.

Also, the argument of extremes is EXACTLY how to test the practical application of morals and ethics. His crying about using extreme examples showed me that he doesn't understand that truth. ie: Does human life start at conception? Moral conviction: Yes. Well, how about if the mother is RAPED? 'why you gotta use an extreme example'?? Because it tests the moral conviction of the belief that human life starts at conception.

I just picked this up for $20! Such a fitting original Ralph. I wish I knew which episode.

[the digital smudgery towards the top is a quick cover-up of a reflection]
Funnily enough Chuck also wrote Simpsons comics, and he said Ralph Wiggum was one of the hardest characters he ever had to write dialogue for, because it's so hard to think and see the world like Ralph Wiggum.

Could that code at the bottom be an episode code? There's a list of them here: https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Episodes

Edit: I'm quite Ralph Wiggum when it comes to the politics myself, but is Rippa saying he supports privately-owned public spaces? Corporations buying up public spaces in cities? Like what this guy from 2017 is talking about:

Where do you stand on this @YoungRippa59? Do you stand with the megacorps buying up the land, or with the odd bedfellows of dirty hippie Gruadian and ex-Nazi-scientist-supporting The Rockefeller Foundation?

Here's the Tim Pool clip I mentioned a few days ago. Maybe rewind a few minutes for better context but this show is always all over the place.

Even the long-haired village idiot immediately understands how stupid the thing was that he just heard.

EDIT: Tim interrupts early completely missing the point but it only last a few secs so keep watching.
When your take is too dumb for the Tim Pool show it is time to worry about yourself...

By his example Twitter, Youtube and facebook have every right to silence, ban or edit the opinions in everyone participating into their sites because private businesses.

People talk about the paradox of tolerance, but the absolute paradox is that of the free market: leave the market free and it won't be free within a few months time.

Just build your own Twitter and Facebook! At least he practices what he preaches by building his own IndieGoGo.

It'd be cool if this thread didn't turn into a debate of libertarian political policies. Maybe start a new thread in Deep Thoughts or somewhere and try dragging Monsieur Rippa into that.

I don't think he's coming back tbh, he called it a time sink. I think he thinks we're just a farm of britches and hoes, sigh.

But if you're reading, @YoungRippa59, let me throw you a flaming sword like no other in the Rippaverse!

For there is one man only, who is truly fit for the mantle of Guardian of the Rippaverse.

And he's right there in your comments on the gatekeeping video.

It is the one they call...

Hire this man, Young! Trust me, it's the only way to get your own back against that pesky @Mister Dongs, trust me it will really annoy him.

What a coward. :story: He doesn't have his gatekeeping fanboy loon army here to defend their master & dogpile critics.
He's not wrong, though. This site is a colossal waste of time.

Imagine what all of us together could achieve if we did something productive with the time we're currently wasting laughing at fat people online.

Oh well.

Haven't seen a superhero movie since fantastic four. The Gf wants me to check out the marvel movies of recent years, so she's showing me her favorites.

Captain America was pretty bleh and weak, and Avengers was super weak and had wierd plot holes and illogical things happening.

Captain America, Winter Soldier was actually really good tho. And the whole "there's a secret entity taking your freedoms" idea was not something I expected in a modern movie.

That's as far as we have gotten. Havent run into the SJW shit yet but I can definitely see the beginnings of it

It's more about how awful libertarians are. More like, internet libertarians?

I for one trust our overlords and welcome our liberator Mickey Mouse!

Happy page 1776, everyone!

I have a stack of no less than 20 CG books I've received in the past few months that are just sitting on a shelf, unread. CG reignited my passion for comics a few years ago and then promptly obliterated that same passion. I still follow some creators and will continue to buy their books, but goddamn the vast, vast majority of what comes out of CG is absolute dreck. I've learned my lesson by dropping too much money on too many unproven creators. Exercise caution, people.
