Quartering idol worships Disrespect for his success as a streamer. Firm Handshakes shows he's up on the lore of the guy. Typically smart creeps knows how to skirt things to maintain plausible deniability. Disrespect is just a scumbag and it has nothing to do with Left vs Right griftwars. The only people defending him care about his image and reach. This will give Frog more content for his streams.
 
i still dont see it, debating the haters (which i think still is more civil than just outright trolling) and meltdowns are still low on the totempole of lolcowdom, its like forcing milking a deadcow. and how is nerdrotic is a lolcow because he was a convicted felon?

im starting to think that this is like kiwis being so jealous of youtubers getting that moolah, you just call them lolcow because kiwis are just jealous of not being able to grift like them

i watched a lot of Katydid clips of eric july, who is now basically a elissa clips of comicsgate, and nothing, all of them are just wet fart. its just the comments are hating on july.
 
only bad for cg, but theres a lot of anime artists i commission to do manga version of classic novels have page rates diplayed in their skeb and other artist marketplace.

probably because it shows how much overinflated their worth/artist skill actually is

Page rate =/= cover rate. The reason why it pissed EVS off, is because the cover price and contract varies alot, based on many variables (book price, book sales,...) + friendship/industry connections discounts.

Since he expected Flash to sell around 10k books, it was 4k base (friend price) and $1k/10 k sold comic books. If it was some bigger project, he'd probably want to charge them a lot closer to $20k.

Having one person reveal the terms and prices they got, makis it a lot harder, to charge somebody else, who also wants an EVS cover, more money.

I see why @Ike Aim and @Mister Dongs left now. Those guys would watch 5 hour streams and write up all the stupidest things someone like Nerdrotic or Ethan Van Sciver would do and say. I have been trying to explain things going back a few years for people that don't know. Only for someone like @huckbeine a youtuber fan to come in and say I don't get it like 5 times in a row. Cool bro, they make money on youtube. Nice. I'm done too there's nothing left to contribute here, add me to the list.

Because rates like that are negotiated from contract to contract and generally speaking people don't like that info to be outed because everyone's gonna expect you to be able to be hired for whatever that rate is, when your rate may change from person to person.

Speaking on my own rates, I don't charge the same for editing services or writing services when it comes to working with someone I know than someone I don't know, and if a bigger company wanted to hire me, I may be more likely to try and ask for more because I know they've got money in the bank to spend. If someone leaked out my rates, then it might set an expectation that I don't want set because it may hurt my negotiating power.

That's generally why people get miffed about it, but some artists like people who do commissions on X/Twitter don't seem to care (but fuck them because they tend to overcharge and under-deliver).
 
Having your page rate revealed is one of the few times I will agree with EVS, I wouldn't want that stuff getting out either if I wasn't just doing silly commissions on X or whatever websites offer that now. It was a shite thing for Flash to do, but he's also a shite person, there's nothing really new about that. Just because he took the hard stance against Nick and that group doesn't make what he did any less shitty.

i have the same position as PPP and that i have long accepted the fact that youtubers gonna grift, they are gonna chase that money. i am ok with that. having low iq or luke warm takes even fence sitting is not lolcowish. shouting through a mic on how disney destroyed star wars is just chasing the audience. ppp shoving a thing up his ass, warski lighting his nipples on fire, now thats lolcow material
 
Yellow Piss got his feelings hurt as he thought he wasn't getting enough of a friend discount. None of these people are really friends. They are at best, internet allies all chasing overlapping grifting. Exposing the behind the scenes money stuff was unprofessional on his part. But that's the thing, he's not really a creative person, a 'professional' comic book creator, has no history as a comic book creator of any kind, so its not surprising.

Rippa paid EVS $1k per 1k units sold according to Flash. Which is likely more money than anyone in CG has ever paid him. Lol. I speculated about this earlier but now its more credible. How much do you wanna bet low energy, monkey see monkey do, Shane Davis insisted on a similar deal with his Rippaverse cover not knowing his cover was gonna be strictly limited? LMFAO get fucked.

Elsewhere, idly whittling the weeks before I can give you chaps the next quarterly update on Dan Fraga’s all time delayed CG project, he had successful back surgery in mid May, and was up and about at HeroesCon Charlotte as of 10 days ago:-

I see he’s taking multiple leaves from the EVS playbook; not only in terms of royally bullshitting his customers, but also piling on the bitch tits. Way to go Fraga, ‘the people’s champ’. I guess they feed ‘em well in those neurological recovery wards! Everyone’s favourite faux-stoner persona was quick to update his BLACK FLAG: Pineapple Perception IGG page, explaining what great difficulty he endured to make the HeroesCon journey. However, just like that bloke who fell off a mountain in Touching The Void, he braved crippling injury and mind-altering pain to rock up to North Carolina just to see his artist buddies. What a fucking guy.

Also stated in his IGG update, the physical tremors are gone folks, and so it is now full steam ahead for his CG campaign. His pace ‘isn’t as quick as he would like’ - just fucking LOL - but I’m sure those sharpie tips will be smoking off the drawing board soon enough.

Why anyone would quit during peak Throat Puff Marshmallow Man harvest season is beyond me. If you got milk, spill it! You might not have the same dislike for Evis like I do, but you have to admit it's pretty funny! It took years for this to unfold. Unless July cranks it up like Rippa Lives Matter, what's the point in getting upset? Riff away, this ain't a zero-sum game but if we're playing by points, Ethan's putting allcow numbers up. Even I didn't think Evis would let himself go like this but he's also never been so desperate and that may be the key for all lolcows.

Eric isn't desperate yet, there's too much in the bank to go to extremes. When the lean season comes for him, we'll see. But don't quit. That's like 41%-ish. Don't go Fleetwood!
