Eric July's comics might be shite (as if anyone in CG has ground to stand on) but he delivers them. Personally I don't see the lolcow-ness in him, even if he doesn't take critique well, even if he doesn't make comics saving stories, even if he chimped out about roads sometime ago, I won't buy his comics because the world of comics has soured me on the medium in general. The only things I will buy from time to time is a back issue I find if I am around them. I'm not backing anymore of these doofuses, I'm just here to watch and input my own insignificant takes.

EVS was never going to save comics, no matter how much he lied about it. Simple Zack was never going to save comics, Eric will never save comics, none of these boomer ass chucklefucks are going to save comics, and their paedo, cokehead, retarded faggoty friends will never save comics either. Goes doubly for the little leeches that suckle off their swollen teats, like Malin and Sean, and Vaedo.

Now July has a perfect foil to help him drive sales and frame him as the cool guy not unlike Ethan's enemies who for years would find a way to self-destruct and give him the effortless default win. I'm okay with Rippa as the Forest Gump of comics with Evis being the Private Pyle of comics, if Private Pyle waited to go nuts until dishonorably discharged from an Army desk job.

They aren't involved with comics but they will draw more attendance. What's wrong with that? EVS wanted Flynt Flossy to come to his CG Con. If he had anyone else notable outside of comics he would want them there too, he just doesn't.

Nothing wrong. EVS propably had problem with them not worshipping him for the big name he was supposed to be and they seperated. Had he been more punctual with work and kept his ego in check, he would have those guys advertising his books into their not insignificant (for indie comics) audience. Then again, if he was all that, he would not have splindered CG. Now G + G/FNT network have joined hands with Eric and can advertise comics that actually come out on time.

Its called, why spend alot of my own money for my own meet up when I can just toss Rippa a little bit of money and tag along with him while not having to worry about the organizational/venue part. They get all that extra work and stress of their backs, and Rippa gets a bigger meetup. Fairly normal for friends to do small business like that, something CG could've benefitted greatly from if their fake conservative leader EVS didn't burn every bridge possible in the nerd sphere. Did you see CGs last "hang out"? It was like 30 boomers in a parking lot. It was so small and so insignificant it was hilarious.

I don't have X so I'll take your word for it. EVS burnt allot of bridges and pissed on the ashes, I don't know who he expects to have friendships with Minus Dick Masterson and company.

Since I got an account and started posting in this thread 2 years ago, I believe EVS can turn this shit around if he ever humble himself up but that possibility evaporated 50 or 60 trash casts ago.

EVS is going to be like Dax has been the last 4 or 5 years. A Self important Narcassist internet personality, that no one cares about ........

Trusting EVS to not bitch about ‘zeroes’ like a jealous ex-lover is like trusting that Vito isn't signing some kind of register.

EVS’ entire schtick is bitching about anyone and everyone; with occasional distractions drawing over-elaborate frog pages. 5+ years now. Do you really think this human mountain of lard has any kind of willpower to not spend days on end feuding with his ‘competitors’?

What else is he going to fucking do, actually finish his campaigns?

Its not that he has no self control (which he doesnt), its that EVS geniunely cannot come up with his own content. EVS is not a creator, he struggles to come up with anything original or unique across the board. Everything hes done his entire career is akin to "that kid who you let copy your homework and changed the words of a couple of answers" and this especially applies to his youtube channel. When he sits in his toy basement and goes "how do i create new content my fans want to watch" he thinks for 3 minutes and goes "i cant, its too hard" and rushes to twitter to see what latest drama has happened that he can just piggyback off of.

Irony being that creating nothing was his whole vendetta against ‘Teh Zeroes’. In terms of YouTube content, EVS creates less than zero.

Oh and speaking of zeroes, breaking news on tonight’s FNT - Az is leaving the show. Tuning in, his announcement was that he will no longer be on FNT but will appear on Gary’s other streams, and will aim to return to FNT as a guest. All seems amiable enough, I suspect Az either saw all the endless comments each week begging him to shut his fucking mouth; or he simply couldn’t cope with the time difference on a Friday Night (streaking until midnight and beyond GMT).

There you go, there is EVS’ first test - will he report on one of his most hated YouTubers riding off into the sunset?

Yeah, his big idea that he's super proud of is just a cartoon frog/battletoads rip off. He's basically the asylum-movies of comic books when he doesn't have actual IP to work on with actual writers coming up with shit. I would bet more money on just the amount of streaming Az does:

Tuesdays BBC
Wednesday Rip Silverback
Fri FNT
Sunday tea and games

with little streams scattered in between occasionally. So it makes sense that he will not be around for FNT, and he might even go back on that idea. I know it's a meme that he's loud and annoying, but I would genuinely be curious to see if this effects their live viewers. Just as a curiosity on how many people he brings to the show.

Jay has his second comic coming out soon and I believe a pirate comic coming out later this year. He also seems to tag along a lot even if it's not to help about Carano.

SWT is probably coming because he's friends with G&G/FNT and he's probably coming to talk about something. I think he's done a comic or something in the past too So maybe he has something else coming up soon. Plus. I think the guy is the second it third biggest Star Wars channel. Him coming could mean a lot of other people that don't follow comics to come. Buy stuff. Etc.


In addition to that. If you do it right. Conventions are basically vacations you can deduct. So maybe he and others wanted to visit Denver or somewhere near there. Since Eric has said he wants to do more conventions. Eric/G&G/FNT/whomever what overlaps with them will probably use that as a way to do more meetups when possible.
