Ai at best can make memes, even then you have to be clever enough to use it well. It can't make something like a comic because people want expression of a writer and artist in a comic.
i think it could theoretically be done and not look terrible, but to get it looking good with a distinct art style and consistent character with a wide variety of expressions and outfits (not to mention any objects the characters interact with or locations you want remain consistent) you would need to make and fine tune so many dedicated lora models and checkpoint models that it'd legitimately be just as easy to draw the comic.

the problem is Richard is a low IQ boomer and thinks making a comicbook with ai is as simple as just "type in vague prompt and get perfect page"

imagine you're a normal working dude who has to get up early tomorrow and you're woken up in the middle of the night and when you look outside you see this fat nigger grilling himself 3 steaks and 4 burgers while ranting into his phone like a crazy person about "raptor's gay worshiping dog fuckers" I would be driven to actual fucking violence.

I listened to the raptor stream. The dude wasn't grilling anything. Didn't seem like he flipped anything at least. For nearly an hour, Malin practically did nothing more than stand there ranting in the dark.

Look up a comic called the abolition of man. It's a comic made entirely with AI. It's not talked about at all because it's slop.

i believe him when he says he was grilling. you can see smoke coming from the barbeque anyway, and the only thing crazier then cooking enough food to feed an entire family at 4am is lying that you are for some reason. lol

yeah, but that's because it seems like a low effort surrealist comic probably meant to clutch pearls about how terrible A.I is. there wasn't really an attempt to make a traditional cohesive comic with consistent characters and clear action.
Abolition-of-Man-int02.jpg259600_1510964_4.jpg
you can make garbage like this easily with A.I (and I'm sure if Richard did this is almost exactly how it would turn out because he's a lazy retard) but i don't think its impossible to make something that looks good is what I'm saying. however you'd need tons of loras and base models and even then you'd still need to micro manage it with inpainting and controlnet models to get exact poses and make it look how you'd want, not to mention all the little edits you'd have to do to fix the unavoidable errors.

It's like trying to "speed up" the comic making process by creating a 3d model for literally everything in the comic that you can just trace over. technically i suppose it could work, but it'd be such an undertaking that it's like, just draw it nigga.

EVS had a major falling out with FNT people during the first year or so of FNT being a thing. From memory EVS unprovoked starting calling out everyone for leeching off Gary and Jeremy's popularity, completely missing the point of a panel show being a mix of people to talk to. Also unaware that Gary's channel was just as small as almost everyone else there when they started it, it was just talking to his friends about pop culture, not a dick measuring contest.

It sounded like sour grapes for not being invited on as a regular host or something as FNT started to grow in popularity.

I think Zack was also invited on numerous times in the first few years because Gary was such a big fan, same reason people like Razorfist and Critical Drinker also got into that circle. He turned them down every time, the last time being around when he collabed with CD for the Rambo comic.

The re-naming was such a massive mistake.

Especially weird in retrospect since his content only start to *pretend* to match the name in the last year or so. (ie "I'm defending comics for the love of the medium from both sides!")

it started when Nerdrotic wouldn’t let EVS on panel to smooth things out during the Zack Sneider debacle. At that point he was used to being the go to guy to fix all the internal problems and tell people what they were going to do. Only thing was, Nerdrotic had that same type of energy but with a bigger platform and a lot more pull. So EVS had a temper tantrum and called everybody zeros for letting Sneider embarrass them(Which they deserved for not checking Zack right away as soon as he started disavowing them).

And we all know how that worked out for EVS.

There was a somewhat unhinged Malin stream I think is worth archiving here. He is known to delete content. He's ranting from outside supposedly grilling steak at 4 am. A little more than halfway thru he starts going off on Lord Raptor Jesus, revealing that he personally hatewatches his shows (often 4-6+ hour CG slums adjacent lunacy) Lord Raptor Jesus is another one of Malin's big bads. The guys he focuses the hate of his viewers on like the Diaz Brothers and Fraga. The art auction I posted the AIDS HULK and Hitler drawings from were from a Raptor commentary and Malin was hate watching that stream. He switched to a very gay high pitched not yelling voice reminiscent of Ethan's lispy gay voice. I think because he was outside in the dead of night. Some off hand comments about artist Gary (of Nexus fame) and his art looking like a trace of a movie still was spun into some effeminate nerd rage of "This Tooourist doesnt even know what comic book inking is!" (sic) While Malin insults the whole of all inkers as glorified tracers in an attempt to own Lord Raptor allegedly calling the art traced (it was traced).
It's really time to rethink your life choices if you're spiraling at 4 in the morning because you went out of your way to hatewatch some guy mocking you on the internet, Malin. Perhaps focus on making comics that people paid you for.

Inmediatly after he switches to mock Erick July for delivering his books on time
Man, he's really buckbroken by the fact that other creators can get their books out on time and that customers appreciate that. Late books aren't plus. Again I'm impressed by the lack of awareness for him to dunk on these punctual fellas for having "clip art comics" while simultaneously spitballing ideas for an AI comic in the same fucking video.

Yeah, I will also defend EVS on that because they did deserve that for letting Zack shit on them with a smile. But the smart thing to do would have been to talk to them privately, not to immediately get on stream high to dunk on them. Then he might still have a seat at the table instead of screaming into the void at people more successful than him. I do find it kinda funny though that Eric was on EVS' stream, agreed with him(but was nicer about it) and still managed to stay in their good graces. Ah, what could have been if EVS was more careful with his words.

I think he is permanently running on gaslighting the audience with his takes. Lying to not attract attention.

I mean, Eric is the businessman. He knows how to disagree with someone without getting them to hate him. EVS comes across as the pro yelling at the noobs. While he might be right, that does not mean he will be invited to the next match. His spot on the team will go to someone more pleasant.

Zack loves to position himself as this oldschool comics guy who respects the industry, yet he fundamentally refuses to acknowledge one of its core values: getting the damn book out on time. That’s why he keeps doubling down on the “art” angle it’s the only thing he has left. He can’t claim he’s fast, he can’t claim he’s reliable, so instead, he’s gotta convince himself (and whatever audience is left) that true comics are about something deeper than mere punctuality. Meanwhile, actual pros just turn in their pages and cash their checks.

Even big name artists like Bryan Hitch or Joe Madureira lost work when they couldn’t keep up with deadlines.
The standard expectation was simple: get your pages in on time, or get replaced.
Zack would never survive in that environment. He’d turn in a script months late, then spend an entire video ranting about how deadlines are a "construct" meant to crush true art. Meanwhile, the editor would’ve already hired someone else and moved on.
If Zack ever got a Marvel or DC gig (which would never happen), he’d get one issue in before getting kicked to the curb for lateness, arguing with the editor, and spending more time making rant videos than actually working.

Don't forget that in that stream EVS did immediately following the Snyder/FNT charity spat where he shits all over the FNT guys he had two guests on loudly agreeing with him: Patrick Thomas Parnell and Eric July!

Unfortunately that stream has since been flagged for hate speech but I found an archive on Bitchute:

EVS's good friend Eric July joins at 1:09:15 to shit on the FNT crew. It's wild listening to this again now with all that's happened since. I downloaded it but it's 375mb so I worry about uploading it here.

There have been some artists that could get away with lateness but those were established legends that did not treat punctuality and expectation. Frank Miller got away with it until he did not.

Zack would quit or be fired before the deadline issue rears its ugly head. He has a hard time listening to civilians is a white male that is too right wing to get along with the weirdos and not talented enough to want him around. EVS stood way better chances all things considered because he did at least work on time (back then) and does still good art.

EVS has ruined everything he touched for his clout addiction and his inability to deal with non-worshippers.

Did Zack say anything about the anniversary of Ed piskors death? If not than that's insane, because it means he's so Autistic that he can't even remember one of the reasons people gave him the benefit of the doubt to begin with.

Could be a april fools joke.

Slash is a confirmed rippaverse fan. Cg in shambles. Even Dean Cain wouldn't be caught dead in a cyberfrog shirt. I wonder if @FROG Is gonna crash out and call slash a traitor.

Richard was always prideful of his "cullings" you'd expect if you do a culling you'd gain subscribers after the bleeding out, but instead he's losing 200 subscribers in a week and go down a thousand every month. Even the sjws doesn't want to be associated with him.
Nuh uh cuz they’re just culture war bonds! Even though it got promoted to mainstream spaces beyond that, if you plug your ears and stomp your feet in the McDonald’s drive through enough, it’s real!

There's some back and forth with FROG and Fraga going on on X and a verrrry cursed video that has outdone the bad taste of the original.

Just let this serve as a warning to all you comic book fags if you think it will be different for you hanging around Ethan Van Sciver on youtube.com this is what he does to his close 30 year friend just for liking people he doesn't like.
