There's already a process just like that. It's called "digital". Clip Studio (among other programs) does exactly what you're describing. You can pose and arrange figures and objects in perspective. It does almost all the work for you if you're just wanting to trace over pre-rendered models/mannequins. All he'd have to do is learn to use a program but Zack can't do that because he is lazy, dumb, and sucks at using technology. It sort of reminds me of Ethan in that respect, with his retarded take on digital art. The major difference being that Ethan sees working digitally as "cheating" on some level (though he's seemingly fine with digital coloring) and Zack can't be bothered to rise to the level of effort it would take to "cheat" by using technology to help his process.
