What even is the point of trademarking that crap? Does it honestly matter at this point?

Interested to see where this goes though. Will Liam call Mitch out or try to excuse his shitty customer relations?
I ordered Bigfoot Bill 1, and honestly I wasn't that impressed. It was a bit of a kid's book. The art was okay, the writing was cringy. I read it once and said to myself "this is a beautiful looking book that I will only read once". And that was before he started to hilariously sperg about "Comicsgay". Back when he was a bit likable in a roguish way.
As for "going after", Doug is such a loathsome creature you need only read his "religious right" tweets and watch his videos to come to that conclusion. Why do you think Cecil's "Smugless" character rubbed him so raw? It's pretty much spot on.
Liam tried to phone Allegiance Arts but their publicly listed contact phone number has been disconnected. Then they hunted down Kelsey Shannon to see if they could get Mitch's contact info that way. But Kelsey hasn't heard from Mitch in several weeks either so that was a dead end also. After that it was a circumspect condemnation until I asked what was the difference between a "no contact PR policy" and a blockbot that pre-blocks all possible customers? Then things got rolling.
Still, with no other programming planned, there was some skirting around the validity of refunding Mandy Summers' "Wart the Wizard", and around when Liam was just starting to comment on something questionable about its quality, the Preston Poulter copyrighting thing was dumped and everything else was dropped as Liam vowed to fight to see Poulter be sent into the poor house or something.
Then Ro came on to discuss none of that, ominously cautioned Liam that 'threatening to take someone's money away could be interpreted as a threat" in a way that I don't think anyone else picked up on, order the chat to buy Vestige before leaving on correcting the chat that "TUG is not a simp, TUG is a cuck!" followed by a belly laugh.
Then TUG showed up to discuss the Poulter trademark and move past the Ro thing, falling back on his own experience in frivolous trademarking when he did so with "Renfamous". However this was interrupted by Liam's co-host who ambushed TUG on his use of personal information and innuendo to try and blackmail critics into silence, the practice of which TUG greasily defended over the course of an hour.
What a shock Mitch is in hiding. Breitweiser is a fraudster who screwed thousands of supporters. It's not a surprise his AA Twitter account only has 600 followers. Out of all the CG nonsense Breitweiser is the only one who deliberately defrauded customers and straight up stole the money and ran. He makes Mike Miller look like the patron Saint of honesty.Liam tried to phone Allegiance Arts but their publicly listed contact phone number has been disconnected. 140 staff members for a crowdfunding website that creators mostly setup themselves seems insane to begin with.Yaboi Zack talks about Kickstarter laying off staff after new projects fell by 35%
Gatekeeping really worked out well for them didn't it?

I tend to disagree. Doug is guilt of pretty much everything EVS is guilty of (bar a poor work ethic).
He tends to get away with it though, because he keeps his gay ops in private chat groups and his streams too boring and poorly attended for anybody to notice what he's up to. Occasionally he can't help but publicly congratulate himself though, like putting Thomas Roiloup up to buying Ribbitcoins (clearly Doug knows more about the collectables market then EVS does).
https://youtu.be/pInAichodOA?t=259 (timestamped at 4:18 )
Doug has his own little sped army of a-loggers like Roiloup and the Incel Brothers and the remnants of the Nerkish clan, who are no different to those Warcampaign fags, just a lot less 'flamboyant'.
He'll occasionally have Nerkish, Roiloup, Tim Lim, Nassar and a whole bunch of other autists on his streams as a reward for their good works. Why else would have still be associating with those losers?
He's such a passive aggressive, bitter little man. So is EVS but at least he a-logs Doug to his face. you can't help but notice Doug watching over his acolytes from the chat in the Incel brothers streams, with the rest of his hangers on (some of whom shit up this thread), as he applauds autism like their grand conspiracy theory about how 'The Mormon's are funding CG!'
I couldn't agree more. Some people seem to like rewriting history.
Doug was very aptly described as 'Hollywood Doug'.
He was the one that contacted EVS because he wanted to 'learn the ropes of his crowdfunding model. He shmoozed in and grifted the community and then couldn't get out fast enough the second he secured the rights to EWJ.
He leapt on the whole Handyman/Brad Ashworth controversy, which had nothing to do with him, just so he could declare himself finished with comicsgate from a smug moral high ground that allowed him to pretend that his staged exit was moral stance that didn't make him look like the piece of shit that he is. Then he goaded Mike into turning just to poke a stick in the eye of Ethan's 'Godless movement'.
He brushed off Comicsgate like I imagine he brushes off anybody that has served their utility to him and has nothing more to offer, but didn't have to be such an ingrate to the people that helped him and backed him as he walked away.
So fuck him.
Bigfoot Bill was an awful book BTW. I know, I bought it. It reeks of exactly what it was, a second rate, second hand idea that I liked much better when it was called Creature Tech. BFB was Doug's disposable training wheels to get to grips with Crowdfunding and prepare for EWJ and that's exactly how it reads.
Or FrogManBad in your case.DOUG MAN BAD!!!!!

This narrative of Doug being some kind of villain who grifted the good boys of CG is getting harder and harder to spin. He, like anyone with half a brain, saw which way the wind was blowing. Anything more is EVS created boogeymen.
His brilliant plan is to make @FROG more money?Preston is trolling CG. This will likely lead to a massive explosion of spergery from CG tards reeeing uncontrollably.
Brilliant. Simply brilliant.
I find it mildly hilarious that you could say exactly the same about Mitch, but Doug gets a pass. Though credit where it's due, at least Doug had the decency to deliver his book on the way out.

I'm mad that Mitch appears to be treating his backers like crap. Having said that, I have a feeling Red Rooster will be delivered. And if you are going on the quality of the product in your hands, I also have a hunch that RR will blow away the absolute garbage that BFB was.If Doug delivered the book then how did he grift them Mitch?
I received Doug's book on time and of superior quality to what was promised. Mitch took my money and instead of making the promised book with it he used it to launch a publishing house that will deliver my book to Walmart before I get mine.
How is what Tennaple did anything like what Mitch did?
Fair play to Mitch. He fucked me over and I was dumb enough to fall for it.
Doug didn't fuck me over though. I'll be getting more of Doug's product because he delivers on his promises.
Even if that was the case? I'd still happily say that Mitch can go fuck himself and I'd hope he dies penniless and a failure.I'm mad that Mitch appears to be treating his backers like crap. I actually read my RR PDF. It's mediocre. I don't hate it but I won't be giving the property any more of my cash.
I supported Doug's books because I read some of his Scholastic stuff and it's really well done. I also enjoyed BFB.
I understand that you hate Doug because he called your movement a bunch of spergs on his way out but I don't think you're proving him wrong by sperging about it.
He's a solid creator, so is Richard and Frog. At the end of the day the difference between Richard and Doug and Frog is two of those people don't have an army of spergs to fight through to get access to them as a reader.
But we all can agree that the three of them are ahead of Mitch Breitweiser because all three of them delivered a book, right?
Wait... didn't Cridious register Comicsgate as a trademark? Or did he fuck that up as well?
