YET. Stu has a sense of humor, and I think he'll likely help Nasser develop his.

Since Warcampaign left Comicsgate it has been stable for nearly a year now and without major conflict or controversary, with exception to Liam Gray until he left the movement.

It is astonishing to me how ineffectual Warcampaign have been in stirring up trouble, since they got the boot from Comicsgate.

I occasionally enjoy the liveshows. The kayfabe can get tiring but, overall, there is a great sense of chaos and inneptitude of the Oz Show but without the maliciousness and the plain crazy.

Yes and no. The subforum started out as extremely pro-Vic, and today it's... well, still extremely Pro-Vic. It also still receives a fairly ridiculous amount of traffic. You're right that truly exceptional ISWV people get ridiculed though. TUG has his thread there. I not entirely sure why, since he was and is always more CG connected than WW.

Nice long term thing about that subforum is that, regardless of what happens with Vic, you can always repurpose it into an "anime containment zone." I envision a future scenario where Digibro, Mother's Basement, and all the weeb cows get moved in there, and TUG gets moved into Cow General. JMK was moved out of WW a while back.

I'll answer a couple of questions here:
1. TUG's thread remains in the Weeb Wars subforum simply because the OP is shit.
I asked if @Yuusha-sama or @damian could rewrite it, but I've heard nothing back from them regarding it.
If someone wants to do it, let me know.
The sooner this happens, the sooner it will be moved out into either the Lolcow or Internet Famous subforums.

His thread was created there because at the time, he had inserted himself into WW and Vic matters in a way that got him equal or arguably more heat than anything he had done in CG. His feud with renfamous was sort of a feud in both communities (ISWV and CG). For example, when he did tweets talking about police reports for the great mailbox caper, he talked about kickvic rather than anything to do with CG.. He also used to appear with Nick alot talking about ISWV. He also got timeline videos done about himself by DA Talks about him while DA Talks was a part of WW. I think part of the reason he got a thread was that he managed to piss off both sides in the ISWV thing eventually. He remained loved by one side in CG for a whole lot longer.

I don't know that his thread belongs in either CG or WW anymore. TUG has kind of become his own thing and grown beyond either community.

I agree. I'm not taking the jab because I'm extremely low risk, it's a leaky vaccine, and I don't trust the safety of the new tech yet.

Telling the government to fuck off is something I'd do with or without having taken the vax and if I had kids I probably wouldn't let them get it because the risk from the shot appears worse than from the virus at that age but it's a parents right to make that decision.

Time will tell.

To be honest, it made sense to move it. Your own OP even states that "It is unknown why exactly John Michael Kelly decided to involve himself in Weeb Wars." A fair amount of his most cringe shit dates back to Gamergate. His WW involvement largely seems to concern the fact Rekiata won't give him the time of day. He's really more of a generic cow than a WW cow. IMHO.

We did, but that wasn't really my question...

What happened is that "we" clued in on the fact that TUG is a grifter who wanted to use WW to promote his stupid non-weeb shit. He spent more time talking about his "The Littlest Umbrella" comic than anything, and nobody in WW really seems to give a shit about his comic. He doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about half the time. Doesn't seem to really care about anime. He badly adapted his grift to WW and got sniffed out pretty easily for that.

On the CG side, it's probably easier for him to sleaze, since he does seem to know about comics.

Also, what @Strix454 said is true too. Nobody seems to believe that Renfamous smashed his hillbilly mailbox, and nearly everybody who is involved in WW absolutely hates Renfamous (much like everybody in CG, I'm sure). I am convinced that was an attempt by him to get supporters to buy his dumb crap in an effort to "stick" it to the the blue haired orca.

I know why TUG has a thread. What I don't know is why it would continue to be in WW. I guess @5t3n0g0ph3r answered that.

With the benefit of hindsight, I feel like other people made Renfamous bigger than she herself did. Both in terms of CG and WW.

If I remember correctly the main Weeb Wars thread was overrun with conversations about TUG so Emspex (RIP best girl) transferred it all to it's own containment thread (TUGs current thread), similar to how she transferred a portion of this thread into the Comicsgate Hanger-Ons and Drama Whores thread, when the alogging of FROG was so unbearable the thread was completely unreadable.

The problem isn't just the OP, TUGs thread was a containment thread and is filled with hundreds of pages of worthless alogging and sycophants defending him. It would take a team of kiwis weeks to organize everything into an index and reference the posts that are actually informative and worthwhile in the OP as a guide. In it's current form the entire thread would need to be overhauled because no newcomer would be interested in wading through all that.

Not to mention TUG's udders ran dry over a year ago. Sure sperging about Johnny Depp everyday is fucking retarded, but it's hardly worth archiving or talking about.

I think somebody like @Newman's Own, @Strix454 or @Smug Freiza would do a wonderful job fixing this shit. How 'bout it guys?

Hard pass from me for the reasons I listed above. Several kiwis I work with talked about updating TUG's OP last year, at the time we felt our resources were better spent on collecting and drafting Liam Gray's thread. Afterwards we got distracted by Doxmas and the Green Dragon doxing of what was left of Warcampaign. Shortly after we devoted our time to unmasking Rewriting Ripley when they were attacking FROG and The Fandom Menace.

Something more fruitful always pops up and updating TUG's OP is too much effort for too little pay off. We're already busy with several other projects that are more pressing and contemporary.
