Nearly all of Dynamite's dozens of Indiegogo campaigns
had a CGC tier where for a hundred dollars or so your Art Thibert or Frank Cho variant cover can be officially "slabbed". Tyler Kirkham has a CGC tier as well. As for why more crowdfunders don't do it, I'm not quite sure. I could speculate on the margins being low because of the steep take of the CGC grading racket, or the logistics of getting an official grader in your house for your DIY comic fulfillment operation, but it'd just be speculation.

09/10/2021 - COMICARTISTPRO SECRETS - OH YEAH! JUST CHILLIN' ON SATURDAY NIGHT
Yesterday was a glum day for Comicsgate as all of Frog's friends went on Yellowflash's "Flashcast" show for the popular weekly getting angry at clickbait program. Tensions between Yellowflash and Frog,
simmering under the surface for years that came to the fore two months ago when Frog went on to Flash's platform to chew him out for leaving Jon "build your platform" Malin high and dry on his launch for Godlike, do not appear to have passed with time. Frog lingered around in Yellowflash's chat to lend support to the gay catbook creator, reminiscent of how Smiller hung around in Frog's chat to lend support to Aaron Lopresti, but it was clear who was invited and who wasn't.

So Frog had a stay at home stream while Yellowflash underwent the herculean task of presenting Shane Davis to his audience as an 'internet personality', packing it with characters like TSWG to presumably make Shane look more interesting and substantial in comparison. Well played, I say. Over there on the FlashCast youtube skeptic AydinPaladin, who has nothing to do with comics, established herself as the second most knowledgeable on comics on the panel of current and former CGers by actually being familiar with Kenneth Rocafort's work. Davis presumably knows more about comics, but didn't really demonstrate it beyond talking about how Rocafort was his friend and that he vouches for him, as if anyone in YF's audience cared.
Meanwhile, settling in for a quiet night of reading some articles from Bleeding Cool in soy voice and floated the idea of making a separate show for indie creators in addition to the "Comicsgate Kings" show where the 'comic book professionals' like Patrick Thomas Parnell go (lmao), Here Frog learned who his true friends were, the ones that stuck with him even in the face of low-hanging youtube reactionary content. Said chat consisted mostly of people asking where
Rekt Planet is, people asking why he is reading Bleeding Cool articles instead of finishing
Rekt Planet, dirteater Star Wars Girl asked from the chat what the project Frog's been talking about for the past 3 years is, CG superchat whale Jason Smoot heroically spending $400 to demand Shane Davis and Cecil on the stream (they didn't show up) and most importantly Sketch Therapy. I was also there to support Sketch, which was rewarded by accusing me of being Warcampaign and vowing to block me if any proof comes up. My support of Sketch is unconditional, so I forgive him.

Also, Malin had an
toy unboxing video which actually got a laugh out of me.
