Sad reality is that YBZ has always tried to be that, but he is too much of a scatterbrain to actually script, revise and edit a coherent video. What separates the Critical Drinkers and RedLetterMedia's from the rest is that they offer constructive criticisms that suggest alternate ways of doing things that would've improved the product instead of just whining "SJW's, SJW's, SJW's!" They also point out technical problems that I would've never picked up on as a normie.
They show their work.
Thereby destroying the career of gay South Asian Andy Ngo.

It's a half-baked theory of mine, but I think there is a fundamental difference in motivation/mindset between streamers like EVS/CG, Drinker, YBZ, Mr. H, Eric July, and even RedLetterMedia versus Nerdrotic/G+G, Az, EFAP, etc. The former have at least the pretense towards artistic creativity while the latter do not. The creative ones' egos are rooted in "I could do better if I had the opportunity" and on some level they believe/intend that they actually will (or could have, or would have). Whether that's utterly delusional or not is beside the point (and you could argue you don't get to be truly artistically creative without a "healthy" amount of self-delusion). The non-creative ones situation is much more precarious and blackpilled, which is partially why they all seem to be so goddamned thin-skinned. They're not deluding themselves when the mainstream takes a dump in their soul that there's any hope of transmuting that shit into gold (despite much swagger about "monetization"). They don't watch a shitty CW show, mock it, and get inspired to create something or even offer an alternative treatment (the way RLM and Drinker so often do). They watch a shitty CW show, mock it, and hope it sustains their channel while simultaneously feeling like they wasted their childhoods, making them cranky to say the least. I cannot begin to fathom how cynical a career (as opposed to a sport) of hatewatching would make a person without the hope for creating something better allowing you to at least be ambivalent, especially not with the added kicker of the whole thing being heavily social-infused (rotten tomatoes and the dunking booths that these faggots are literally sitting in, you get it).kind of still like The Critical Drinker, YBZ, JSG and Mr H. for the simple reason that they will talk about the things they do like.
He's probably dyslexic. Not an insult, just an observation.
Between the move to Texas and all the bar meetups, It'll be interesting to see what the future holds for our jailbird sped who isn't at all mad, not in any way whatsoever. It could be nascent relapse happening in our midst but the guy also seems to have some Oppositional Defiant Disorder kicking around. The vindictiveness, the spite, the anger, especially towards people he may be inclined to see as "authoritative", rivaling him, or exceeding him in status. His relation to Robert Meyer Burnett always struck me as over-compensating. As-if he knew he could have a problem with the guy at some point so he pro-actively sainted him in the eyes of the group so that no such problem would arise. RMB is a notorious Star Trek franchise barnacle and social weasel so that was probably wise, actually.Self responsibility is a big part of recovery. He looks terrible in recent videos. I'm just writing it off as COVID isolation. But it wouldn't surprise me if all the stress has him relapse at some point.
Ah. I see you too are aware of the coming stream shit. After all, it is only the logical progression of things. As a bonus, he could ask her to take a shit for Cecil then logoff right before she does it. #CGFulfillment2021
I started watching The Expanse because The Critical Drinker recommended it. He said it had a "diverse cast"without being hamfisted or cringe about it. Instead of just whining about having a diverse cast and nothing more. What separates the Critical Drinkers and RedLetterMedia's from the rest is that they offer constructive criticisms that suggest alternate ways of doing things that would've improved the product instead of just whining "SJW's, SJW's, SJW's!" I believe he's one of those guys who watched the movies, loved them, tried to read the books, got physically tired and just skimmed 'top 5 things you didn't know about X' or 'What the movies left out' videos and articles. He loves GoT and claims to be a big Tolkien Fan. I believe GoT as GRRM language isn't that advanced (better than Harry Potter though). I have trouble believing he's actually read Tolkien outside of maybe LoTR/Hobbit at best.

I may be misremembering, but I seem to recall a while back, right around the time we got word of some of the bad decisions being made with the LOTR amazon show, he did some stream where he mentioned that some fan had sent him a copy of the Silmarillion, and he didn't know what it was (he couldn't pronounce it right on the show, took him 2 times) and he wasn't aware that it was a valuable copy as he looked it up later and it was some expensive version. No idea where this was or what stream, so no evidence sorry. I do remember that when he said that I thought it might have been a Folio Society version. But anyway, from that brief moment I got the feeling that he hadn't done anything beyond read the trilogy and the hobbit, so basically skin deep "fan." He has seemed to be more knowledgeable lately on LOTR, but whether that is from reading the books more or just browsing top 5 lists and 10 minute youtube videos I don't know.I don't believe he has read anything deeper than that with GoT or LotR.
Reminds me of when the 'Great Big Star Wars Fan' couldn't pronounce Ahsoka on his live stream.I may be misremembering, but I seem to recall a while back, right around the time we got word of some of the bad decisions being made with the LOTR amazon show, he did some stream where he mentioned that some fan had sent him a copy of the Silmarillion, and he didn't know what it was (he couldn't pronounce it right on the show, took him 2 times) and he wasn't aware that it was a valuable copy as he looked it up later and it was some expensive version. I'd say it is an divide between wannabes and hasbeens versus ecelebs. It's really interesting to me that EVS, Mr. H, and Eric July were pretty much the only three speaking truth over the Zach Snyder situation while the non-creative ones circled the wagons and hastily whipped-up cope. Maybe I'm naive but I still have no idea why the non-creatives don't intentionally prostrate themselves before the creative ones in their midst, even if only strategically. They are fans, are they not? "Know your role", and all that... The vitriol and resentment with which Az went after EVS was truly strange. But then again I'm not a YouTuber and I have no real idea what the experience of $500 superchats, regional meetups with "fans" and being treated as "experts" on the state of pop culture would do to a guy over several years. There seems to be an awful lot of smoke being blown up their asses about where they're going and what they're going to become.
So weird to me that Nerdette shifted gears to try to kiss ass to the mainstream weirdos. Why would you ever want one of them on your channel whining about how they're victims cuz they take penis in their ass?

Sure, I was referring to TaylorTalksComics and LilMoviePerp as being SJWs and "Breadtubers", which is a term I admit, I just learned about.Frog's been talking about the "SJW Breadtubers" on a few of his videos but this is a bit of a misunderstanding on his part. MundaneMatt and Nerdette and the people hanging around them aren't breadtubers so much as they're Anti-SJW youtubers who got kicked out of that niche and looked to switch sides, only to find the woke people don't want them either and, with nowhere else to go, have decided to band together.
MundaneMatt's reason for being there is the most obvious: he can't undo the infamy of being on the ground floor for GamerGate and the left will never forgive him for that, no matter how much of a laughing stock he is considered among his former peers.
Nerdette peaced out from CG in the end of 2019 according to this video, citing plateauing views, carrying water for WC only to them to turn on her for being an "e-girl" as well as getting dox threats plus some incel hacking her bitchute account, which was met with nobody in CG noticing or caring or rising to her defense. True to form, nobody in CG noticed or cared about her leaving either, which doesn't seem to have sat well with the woman with the tire-screech resembling voice. Over time this actually sort of worked in her favor, with Aaron Lopresti, Chuck Dixon and Dan Fraga going on her show because they didn't realize she disavowed Comicsgate. Mainstream creators however do remember she was part of CG.
Forced Adversity is an SJW, but none of his woke peers are very appreciative of his blunt and autistic interpersonal skills and he finds himself looking from the outside in at the established comics twitter gatekeeper cliques. Renfamous and the rest are publicly critical of Dane's efforts because they "give oxygen to Comicsgate" and take exception to this upstart newcomer pulling rank on people who have been hating CG way longer then him. Forced Adversity for his part (paraphrasing) told them to blow it out their ass, adding that he suspects the real reason they're going with the "ignore and block them" strategy is just cope and posturing on their part because all these "old-timers" managed to do was beat Comicsgate's fists with their faces when they engaged with them and, unlike them, that he's going to actually do something. Upon further reflection Dane deleted these tweets like a bitch, but still the damage was done. It's very telling that the only SJW guests that FA's able to land on his show are the people who have public videos of themselves jamming shit up their ass like Preston Poulter and the Amazing Atheist. Meanwhile, Mundane Matt and Nerdette are some of the few people with a subscriber count who will have him.

Also Forced Adversity. It turns out the LGTBTQAI+ online comic fan community is not a fan of his liberal use of words like "cucks", "retarded" and calling comicsgaters gay. Perhaps inevitably, the old guard comics SJWs got together and had a big "we need to talk about why Forced Adversity is a piece of shit" twitter thread. Unfortunately the tranny that posted it has privated their account and hiding their 20-tweet tirade, but a cache of the original twitter thread can be found here. Hence him having to go on Jarbo's show for exposure.Say, what is the second Twitter screenshot about, Dongs? Who are they talking about?
I see all of these people as equally worthless. They're all social parasites subsisting off easily-influenced people who need to be assigned their opinions by strangers. None of them add anything of value to the world.Roger Ebert was a film critic. RedLetterMedia's Plinkett Prequel reviews were fan criticism raised to the level of art in its own right. Neither should be compared to Friday Night Tights or the pop culture complainer crew, who are more accurately described as 'professional hatewatchers' at this point than critics of any sort. A good critic can provide information or perspective the reader did not know or think to consider, making their service of value. A hatewatcher by contrast does not offer information and instead operates on a purely emotional level; they take feelings of dissatisfaction and/or alienation from a work or its fandom and translate them into feelings of validation and a sense of social belonging through their shared dislike in exchange for the viewer's time and money.
Are you talking about Youtube or all media personalities in general? Sounds like you just described all media personalities in general.I see all of these people as equally worthless. They're all social parasites subsisting off easily-influenced people who need to be assigned their opinions by strangers. None of them add anything of value to the world.
Put simply, anyone who feels their opinion of media is a gift to humanity deserving of being marketed and sold as a commodity is most likely a narcissistic imbecile lacking greatly in other areas of life.
I'm referring to "professional" critics, weather they reside on youtube or elsewhere. To be clear, I'm fine with media personalities sharing their opinions. Frog's trashing of the sequels was what attracted me to his channel. Are you talking about Youtube or all media personalities in general? Sounds like you just described all media personalities in general.
Forget Nerdette, just have me on. I have no following, I'm only seeking attention, my opinions are completely irrelevant to your fans, and my issues with you are surface level and can be ironed out in a matter of minutes.I’ve got Nerdette sending me messages begging to debate me. She calls the two breadtubers I already had on “stupid” and “small fish”.
I could use the content but I honestly don’t think i can take her voice for more then 3 minutes.
The best part about Breadtubers is when the army of zoomer autists they have courted cancel them for being, you know, somewhat on the left instead of cosplay anarchists with hammer, sicles and catgirl avatars. The real breadtubers are way bigger and exhibit way more Retardations than any of these little people. Nerdette for example might be a "big account" compared cg channels but her 20k+ is small fry compared to the likes of Contrapoints, vaush, demon mama, xanderhal. There's plenty of lolcows just begging to be mocked but the hard part is finding where they overlap with our circle.
I reckon Vaush'd "debate" you. He has some takes on superhero comics and Manga and stuff. He fancies himself an edge Lord so I suspect you'd have a good chance in conversation with him. And I mean he debated doug that time.
