There are people included that I may not have included for different reasons but its not my list. I do like that their inclusion makes the cut off point to break the Top 50 a nice round 1k though. Its kinda pleasing to me at least.

The ire about his late book seems at an all-time high and reading up on his recent activities, it sounds like he's starting to turn into an actual simp rather than just a parody of one. Cecil in top form on the latest Flashcast. During a Discussion on Jack Murphy and a spicy moment with Sydney Watson on the Elijah Schaffer show concerning cuckolding, Cecil and Anna had an interesting exchange.

I found it interesting because most livestreams I've listened to its somewhat expected to interrupt each other. Two things come to mind, one Anna is overly angry at the interruption, and two Cecil stammers into his thought without skipping a beat. Perhaps they have been friendly enough for a long time there's no hurt feelings here. I don't know. I think most often the benefit of the doubt is shown. Maybe she's just tired of Cecil as everyone else is? Guess all that shilling he did for her was for naught

BTW Anna was attempting to say Watson would be on the next Simpcast. See guys, she's more than a pretty face, she's hanging out with really smart people. Political people even. Anna the intellectual! A brilliant a mind as she is beautiful!

Eh, I don't think it makes a difference. It would push Micah down to #11 but my point that he has more subs than any of Ethan's regular guests (again with the exception of Anna) would still stand.

I tend to think of JSG as being more affiliated with the FNT guys than being what I would consider a CG channel in a strict sense. JSG is definitely CG friendly but the fact that he's pretty much just a critic, isn't offering a product and he appears semi-regularly on FNT related streams and not so much CG-centric channels puts him more in the FNT camp to me. Considering his sympathy towards pedo bullshit, that's probably a net positive for CG.

The Micah thing only occurred to me initially because it reminded me of Jon Malin's retarded theory that you had to "build your channel" if you wanted to have successful campaigns. Malin himself doesn't have 10k subs as of this writing, but manages to have successful campaigns. You'd think this may have something to to with him having regular exposure to EVS' platform, Malin says access to the Frog Show has zero to do with campaigns getting funded and that all it takes is having a great personality and the willingness to stream for hours at a time (you know, just like him). His message to smaller creators was to git gud at YouTube.

Despite having twice as many subs as Malin, Micah can't seem to reach the numbers he was getting when he was a fixture on CAPS. I see he's on his second attempt at funding Englewood 2 after the last one utterly flopped and he cried about having to quit comics. He's currently just under 75% funded with 12 days left to go and has added his version of a Frog Box with a bunch of worthless Englewood shit in it for $200 (he's sold 3). He may or may not make it, but I don't think the size of his channel is the problem.

Contrast Micah with Clint Stoker, whose channel has half the reach of Malin's yet seems to have no problem funding his books (FATL was even a pussy hair from $100k). He is also no longer making appearances on CAPS and hasn't for some time. I think the point is that Malin's theory is stupid and that success in funding a campaign has more to do with people wanting your product than it does having a certain number of YT subs (also it helps to have big timers give you a boost every so often).
