To be fair to Nick, he is a lawyer with a practice out in the middle of nowhere, farming communities. He got a law degree in 2015. He immediately went into private practice and did a handful of trivial cases up to 2018 and then everything stops. Cases are public records. If he has been active as an attorney, it would be in a way that did not involve his presence in any court.
I don't think legal professionals out in those areas spend all that much, or maybe any at all, time in court since there just isn't going to be all that much murders, cartel hits or gangbanger drivebys out there.
Like most lawyers with a practice out there, most/all his legal engagements are likely to just write up a will for someone or help writing a letter to an insurance company because the tractor broke down and similar. So thus you will not see him in many court records.
