I haven't watched a CG stream in months but even back when I stopped the chat seemed to be at the end of their collective rope with Cecil in regards to Cashgrab being late, and particularly the way that lateness was being trivialized into a meme that they were expected to laugh at. So, they move on and Patrick manages to get in a good line regarding something about Jim Shooter which creates some defusing laughter. +1 Point: Patrick. But just then defeat is snatched from the jaws of victory when on the heels of some ok-ish negging of Anna by Patrick, he immediately attempts to articulate himself the "funny conversation with Jim Shooter" that was had previously and is the source of the negging and which precisely no one on the stream or in the audience cares about because it's never going to be as funny for them as that moment was for Patrick and now Patrick & Anna's connection is roboting and Anna is interrupting obnoxiously (as Anna does in these situations). Bad move, Patrick. Penalty -1 Point. Sensing he is in dire straits and is already committed to the bit, Patrick throws a hail mary and attempts to forcefully shut down Anna long enough to finish his hopeless anecdote so he can at least save face. However, YellowFlash, realizing he's not a nerd, this shit sucks, and who the fuck is this guy, immediately shuts down Patrick's shut down, Patrick tucks tail and smiles non-threateningly like a nervous moron, and YellowFlash keenly rolls the convo back to the fat arms of Monica Rial which salvages and wraps-up the topic (such as it is). Simultaneously, Anna's connection drops out and she never returns.

For what it's worth, FROG said the other night that he wouldn't want to live near Cecil because he'd "probably kill him." Now, he was undoubtedly joking, but I think the underlying frustration is very real.

This was in addition to FROG stating that he has no regrets over the fact he allowed Wiggle on his show to answer questions about Spectre's stolen valor. Cecil famously lost his shit over FROG allowing him on because Wiggle was in War Campaign 8 million years ago.

Methinks Cecil doth protest too much, and he should definitely be more concerned about the growing frustration (even within CG) over Cash Grab.

User name relevant. The CG pitch was you could make your own book, sell your own book to people online not cockblocked by SJW gatekeepers, and make more money than you could at Marvel and DC. But in those cases you're running your own campaign, you drew your book, you sell the book, you fulfill the book, etc.

Once we come to artists for hire, then no, that was never a CG pitch. People can and probably do pay established pros with a history of successful work well, but if you're an indie artist with no history of success looking to draw someone else's book but asking for batman page rates and above, that has nothing to do with CG.

So you remembering is mostly you talking out your ass. Nobody should or is going to pay an indie artist with no history of high quality work super high page rates, and it has nothing to do with the CG pitch.

If said artist is interested in creating their own IP and selling their own book, that's the CG thing. Otherwise they're just working for someone else who is putting in the work to sell the comic, fulfill, establish (or has already established) credibility with the community/potential customers, etc which is also big work and in most cases the guy hiring has an established name that actually does sell the book. If they expect to get a page rate under those circumstances, they're just work for hire. If they negotiate not getting a page rate for a % of profits that is a potential hilarious conflict later (when Donal Delay steals the money and runs) but at least more along the lines of what CG is talking about.

You don't get to come in as a nobody, take no risks, and get a page rate more than the big 2, because there's nobody in the world looking to do business with someone like that.

That actually seems plausible and reasonable, TBH. It's why Wiggle gave me the JDA IGG dox stream to reupload here. I was told attempts to reproduce it elsewhere met with flagging from Liam. And it wasn't even content from Liam's channel. I was happy to help out of principle.

I was always amazed that people found Cecil funny, let alone trustworthy enough to give him money for an awful, shitty looking piece of novelty merch. Was Cecils... This is a Friday night drunken stream @FROG did. At one point, famous artist Dale Keown gets drunk and acts like a high school cheerleader who drank a 6 pack of Smirnoff Ice. Im talking drunk cry/laughing and snotting. Frog being the friend he is made sure to full screen it for laughs. Guess it pays to have friends like that. Mandy, also pretty drunk, made everything alright though, Frog fullscreened her while she showed her bikini top that she was wearing to cheer Dale up. Why do you think he keeps @NasserRabadi13 and @TheCosmicWarrior around, they are his emergency scapegoat stash. Though I would say Nasser may have lost his use as a scapegoat since lately he has been quiet and actually working on his comic.

@Mister Dongs you forgot to mention this stream in your update. I understand though since there were a lot of things that have happened the last couple of days. This is a Friday night drunken stream @FROG did. At one point, famous artist Dale Keown gets drunk and acts like a high school cheerleader who drank a 6 pack of Smirnoff Ice. Im talking drunk cry/laughing and snotting. Frog being the friend he is made sure to full screen it for laughs. Guess it pays to have friends like that. Mandy, also pretty drunk, made everything alright though, Frog fullscreened her while she showed her bikini top that she was wearing to cheer Dale up. The embedded video is timestamped at when it happens.

Lame. I had heard Dale had major substance abuse issues that basically killed his career years back. Glad Sciverfrog is looking out for his old friends and making sure he monetizes their addictions. If we're lucky enough, Dale could cybercroak during one of these shitstreams. You're living your best life Ethan!

Props to everyone for watching these 5+ hour long streams, I can't watch any of this shit anymore in full, even as background noise, they are so fucking boring. The whole "format" is just a bunch of people rambling about nothing, except basically none of them are entertaining or interesting for that long. Especially flashcast, god that stuff is so boring I don't know why anyone pays for that nonsense.
