The worse thing Christopher could have ever done was make this comic. After 4 years of trashing @FROG Ya Boy Zack, Jon Malin and the rest of comicsgate, he has given himself, whether he realizes it or not, an incredibly high bar to meet. And I would venture to guess based on the opening numbers that returning fanbase of his isn't enirely comprised of actual paying customers as much as they are grown men who were hurt by Ethan vs Sciver's internet terrorism and comic-book- making ways and wish to see their hero Christopher stick it to us all with how comics should really be done. I'm pretty self aware when it comes to my place as a creator and know when to keep my mouth shut on things. Christopher has not, and for the next 6 months he's given us lots of new LOLcow material. If i had the time and energy, if this comic crumbles and fails to deliver on time, I'd work on giving him his own thread here on the farms. After all, he was Liam Gray before Liam Gray liamgrayed.

I'm gonna try and see if I can go back to his older streams and compare his artwork then. Interesting fact is that when he did his drawing streams, he would automaticallyt already have the drawing conveniently done. The streams comprised of him coloring his tracings drawings with markers.

It doesn't matter if Hut is on time. The book looks like shit.
If he's on time, "This is what a book looks like when the creator emphasizes timeliness over quality."
If he's late, "He couldn't do it on time either." Lose/Lose for Christopher, 20 year grocery store manager.
The reason this was a bad idea is that it stripped him of his anonymity, and now he's going to have to watch what he says. People are litigious lately.

I have got to hand it to SMiller. NFTs paid off for him more than comics ever could And there is nothing his detractors in the CG sphere could ever do to hurt him financially because the people that are into NFTs simply don’t give a damn about that drama.
I would have thought that the NFT thing would have died out by now since crypto is in the toilet but people are still buying NFTs by the boatload and Mike is cashing in on them big time.

NFT's are effectively dead but they cost zero to produce and can be procedurally generated (i.e. zero effort to produce) so why stop shitting them out until you're forced to?

While this is accurate, it's the same thing as if I got a job as a carpet installer, build up my reputation as a carpet installer, populated my social circle with fellow carpet installers and made numerous claims to be a world-renown carpet installer. Then when it comes time to actually install a carpet, I do a horrible job. I track mud all over the place, there are huge wrinkles in the carpet and I vehemently shut down any attempts from the homeowner to correct my methods.
Then I quit that job and get a new job as a pest control expert, and this pays much better. I then spend the next several years texting my old carpet installer buddies and bragging about how much money I make doing pest control, and wondering why they don't seem impressed.

That's the thing though, sure he has co-conspirators doing all the tech work while he just doodles but its his name that sells these things so you know he's taking the biggest cut. It's free money for SMiller. Only suckers have to actually sweat in their garages packing something that's two years late in a box and making multiple trips to the post office every day.

After seeing some of the comments left on the new campaign, I had to wonder if the people still giving Zack money are more or less retarded than the people still tipping DSP. Only thing I could come up with is that Zack's paypigs seem to have at least some self awareness and realize on some level that Zack makes stupid decisions. Several of them are openly questioning the wisdom of a 9 day campaign (while still backing it).
Then you have geniuses like this guy, who apparently believe Zack's books will appreciate in value and be a worthy heirloom for his grandchildren:

The maximum value of like 99% of comicsgates books is immediately after they release, I'm pretty sure.
I know the only time I ever made money instead of breaking even selling my comicsgate shit was when I put Graveyard Shift Vol 2 up on ebay the day I got it in the mail.
And thinking about it, that's probably only because comicsgate was still big back then.

I like Tim's work, but seriously, its been a few years and Tim is doing great with his books, so I just dont understand why he is still has to get these passive aggressive hissy fit jabs in on @FROG at every opportunity. I dont see it as much of a net gain for Tim with his audience. Now when Frog reciprocates, that is a net gain for Frog with his audience.

It’s been known for quite awhile that Hut frequents the Farms. He mentions the farms quite a bit in his videos. Blaming Frog for punching down on him for his book‘s failure is not going to work. The main reason for his campaign’s failure is that 10’000 dollar goal he set. That figure is way too high for someone‘s first campaign who is fairly unknown in the indie comics scene.
All these campaigns he covers and the access he has to people who have actually ran successful campaigns, he should have known better then to set the bar so high. Let’s if his friends and fans can get him to his goal. Cuz even at this early point, it will be out of pity if he actually hits 10k.
Also Tim, is bullshitting him because there is no way he himself would release a book like that with such shit art. Stuff like that will kill your career even if the book is released on time. Both quality and timeliness are equally as important. Ask YBZ with his flagging sales.
