So Tim is feeding things to a guy who is ridiculed by pretty much everyone in and around CG and who @Captain Manning called an "untalented mush-mouth retard" to then make videos "3 or 4 videos a day" going after you. This is a @TheCosmicWarrior level conspiracy theory. I do think he takes jabs at you, but sparingly in passive aggressive shit like he did on Hut's tweet.

I think when Lim does this, he does so in a casual opportunistic sense. Which is to say, he likes taking jabs at FROG if and when he comes across something in his Twitter feed that would allow him the opportunity to do so. However, I don't think there's a concerted effort by him to take FROG down. There doesn't need to be. Lim is doing just fine outside the aegis of CG.

The thing with Vikki and JDA is a tiny bit more complicated. Knowing what I know and have observed, I honestly think she'd like to cancel certain CG personalities. Roiloup is the same way. Perhaps Hut is too. These people, quite unlike Lim, have little to do other than nurse their hate boners all day long. They're all on a whole other (much lower) level than somebody like Lim.

That said, JDA is a perfect example on how correlation doesn't always equal causation. A lot (okay, most) of JDA's woes are as a result of him stepping on his own dick. Whenever that happens, somebody like Vikki becomes a convenient scapegoat for him to avoid accepting personal responsibility for his actions. So while Vikki acts like an obsessed weirdo concerning certain CG personalities she hates was the searing heat of a thousand suns, that's no reason to gloss over the fact JDA can frequently act like dumbass.

Now, I'm sure saying all that probably pisses off several people here who is "team whatever," but that's how I see things. There's a lot of people in CG, anti-CG, and CG-adjacent, that don't seem to adult very well.

Which, of course, is perfectly fine for the purposes of this site. Game on.

While this is accurate, it's the same thing as if I got a job as a carpet installer, build up my reputation as a carpet installer, populated my social circle with fellow carpet installers and made numerous claims to be a world-renown carpet installer. Then when it comes time to actually install a carpet, I do a horrible job. What this means to me is I have absolutely no fucking clue what I'm supposed to glean from "past WC affiliation." They don't seem to be created equal. Nothing, perhaps? Examine each person, in turn, on their own merits?

To be honest, I dont think I would dislike JDA as much as I do if he would just admit that he is an asshole, admit that he shares some blame for the fallout that happens when he has a spat with someone and not hold his hands out like "i didnt do nutin". I'm going to watch a Comics Book Hut video.

The Hut makes a video where he asks for 'super thanks' which are like when you paypig to a youtube video. He says that the campaign is going to be for 60 days and he's going to make videos every single day to promote it.

The book appears to be pretty much done, he shows a stack of 60 pages. He's experimenting with his home printer to show off what it would look like coloured. I think I have to agree with Ethan.. it looks like shit.

Hut says he's going to go onto other peoples channels to promote his book, I think that'll be pretty entertaining. Hopefully someone can get on and press him.
If you back a perk on his Kickstarter you'll be able to get a personally hand drawn card that the hut himself has drawn. He's gonna offer posters and prints.

At one point he says you might get something different if you pledge on Indiegogo? Is he going to double dip on different crowdfunding websites?

He says that you're not going to read about a pregnant whale that will destroy humanity anywhere else and he talks about all the hairstyles, outfits and colour schemes for the characters.

He says that the book is going to come out early or at the very least on time and that he doesn't care if it gets all funded. He says that his biggest concern is getting the book printed, he isn't worried about fulfilling any of his backers pledges - why would he be worried about printing off a few posters and cards?

I was looking forward to the Hut not being able to back up all of the criticism he's had for others over the years but when you set the bar this low he's kind of cheating. He says that most creators are incapable of following through on the expectations that they set and in a week we'll see the first ten pages lettered and uploaded onto Kickstarter. Then in two weeks we'll see colour.

He says that he is totally transparent and will answer every question when it comes to his book and that people hate him because he's an independent thinker. That's certainly one way of putting it.

He says that the money pledged to the campaign is not his money until he has fulfilled every single kickstarter backer.

That's pretty much everything that he says in the video. I was looking forward to him ankle biting Ethan. There is a conspicuous lack of screencaps of Ethans posts uploaded as a blog post to his Youtube channel with an accompanying paragraph.

Hut if you really want to promote your book you should embrace kayfabe and go after Ethan like man.

Same package a few miles further north across the Canadian border costs almost $80 and takes 2+ months. For condition-sensitive items that's a no-go. A single return and you're out the shipping both ways and it'll be another couple months before you get the item back usually damaged.

I would set it up so that if a customer overseas wanted the book, he/she could email me and we would set something up that way. That is assuming if the book even gets funded In the first place.
